I doubt that many people in the United States, let alone around the world, don't know about the Hamas invasion of Israel from the Hamas-controlled Gaza territory. I sometimes tire of talking about it on my Facebook Live show, Duke Over America, but I do being I feel it is that important of an issue. 

The Hamas terrorist attack on Israel on Oct 7th took the world by surprise including the Israeli and American intelligence agencies and has been the focus of most of the world's attention ever since.  Thankfully the Israeli Defense Forces are taking the necessary and cautious steps to eliminate the threat of Hamas terrorists from attacking the nation of Israel ever again.

As my colleague Streiff wrote about late Tuesday night, (BREAKING. Israeli Special Forces Storm Al-Shifa Hospital) the IDF is methodically eliminating threats in Gaza wherever they may be hiding.

Early Wednesday, Tel Aviv time, Israeli Special Operations forces began an assault on Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza. 

Al-Shifa Hospital has been the subject of a lot of discussion in the past few days as Israel tightened its cordon around Hamas strongpoints in North Gaza. 

The hospital and Hamas fortifications inside the compound and underground are believed to contain many of the hostages taken on October 7-8.

While Hamas has maintained that Al-Shifa is strictly civilian, Israel and other nations have concluded that the hospital covers an extensive Hamas underground facility.

The White House said on Tuesday the U.S. has intelligence that shows Hamas has used hospitals in Gaza, including the Al-Shifa Hospital, "to conceal and to support their military operations and to hold hostages."

National Security Council spokesman John Kirby made the announcement on Air Force One while traveling with President Joe Biden to the APEC summit in San Francisco.

It appears to be the first time the U.S. has revealed specific intelligence about how and where it says Hamas has held Israelis and Americans kidnapped when the group, designated by the U.S. as a terrorist organization, attacked Israel on Oct. 7.

"I can confirm for you that we have information that Hamas, and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, used some hospitals in the Gaza Strip, including Al-Shifa, and tunnels underneath them, to conceal and to support their military operations and to hold hostages," he told reporters.

So far the bipartisan leadership of the United States government has been holding firm on supporting Israel in the Middle East and rejecting the nonsense with the protests ongoing in college campuses supporting the pro-Hamas side.

The March for Israel was held in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday. As RedState reported, hundreds of thousands of people gathered on the National Mall to show their support for Israel and the Jewish people, and to denounce the sickening rise in antisemitism seen both here and abroad since the horrific attacks launched by Hamas on October 7. 

Both Republican and Democratic leaders attended and spoke at the event. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) addressed the crowd, noting that leaders of both parties stand with Israel. He called out the evils of Hamas and warned of the dangers of ignoring antisemitism, noting that led, in the last century, to the horrors of the Holocaust. He stopped short, however, of calling out the members of his own party in Congress who've been vocal in their antisemitism in recent weeks.

So with all the confusion in the world and some incredibly large divides between supporting the one true democracy in the Middle East and a terrorist organization whose stated goal is to eliminate them, you can't really blame people for tuning out or just plain becoming depressed or disinterested in it.

 That is where humor can come in and brighten the day and fill in the gap. Depending of course on which side is taking the brunt of the joke.

A very well-done parody video posted on X (the site formerly known as Twitter) shows how well-done parody can cut through some of the nonsense and show incredibly off-center bias. The video below mocks the BBC coverage of essentially taking the terrorist group Hamas's point of view and running with it as though it is 100% factual and no critical thinking needs to be done.

In fact, the end of the 3-minute video is the cherry right on top of the mocking sundae.

For many years, the British have pointed to and taken pride in the fact that their relatives during World War II handled the bombing that the Germans delivered to them in stride. They furthermore have enlightened people ever since how they had a stiff upper lip during that period and when the time came to bomb Germany they did so with a glee and satisfaction that they felt their relatives had earned.

Winston Churchill, who was the wartime leader in Britain during World War II, became a symbol of resilience during this time and right after when what he called the Iron Curtain settled in across Europe after the completion of the war in 1945.

That this is a really beautifully produced parody video turns the BBC's moronic narrative on its head using an off-mentioned time in England's life that they have looked at with pride and said “Oh Churchill must have been a bad guy actually”.

In fact, this is so well done you might have some college kids use this as the basis for criticizing the defeat of the Nazis and criticizing Churchill and the Americans.

During the duration of this conflict, in Gaza, I have tuned in to the BBC more than 50 times because they do cover international events a little better than most other outlets I have found. They have a history of being connected for decades in these countries and their coverage does go a little more in-depth.

However, you can point out immediately when one of their anchors has an ax to grind almost from the get-go and they usually do a much better hiding it than the folks at MSNBC.

Everything about this parody video is just spot on.  it's just a damn shame that these folks are based in Israel because Saturday Night Live over at NBC Rockefeller Center could absolutely use some well-written parody like this and I'm confident their ratings would be vastly improved.

Damn shame.

I truly look forward to more from this group because, in the dark days of conflicts like this, we all need to take a moment and laugh at any number of things to lighten our moods.. I have always preferred dark humor done in this type of form and I hope more is to come as this conflict rages on.
