They lied to us. Fifty-one former intelligence officials, including those who'd occupied the top spots in the U.S. intelligence community, looked us in the eye in October of 2020 and insisted that we not believe our lying eyes. The Hunter Biden laptop story had “all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation,” they said.
We shouldn't believe it. And those who were reporting on the story deserved to be silenced.
Flash forward three-and-a-half years, and the Justice Department serving under the president they helped elect with their lies about the mountain of evidence contained on his son's abandoned device used that very same laptop to convict the First Son for lying on a federal firearms form and possessing a gun while being an addict and user of crack cocaine.

When they say you can't make this...stuff up — you can't make this stuff up.
I can't really tell if what I'm seeing is what I'm seeing. I'm hoping 51 current and former intelligence officials will write a letter clarifying it for me. https://t.co/n8J3hO4OI9

Because what we see has all the classic earmarks of a failed presidency.
