It’s unfortunate, in a way, that Seth Abramson (attorney and all-around very online progressive activist) was the one to straight up admit Critical Race Theory (CRT) is unabashedly and admittedly Marxist because almost no one listens to the dude or takes him seriously.
But it’s nice to see some honesty out of the rationalizing left.
Here’s his sweet, little twitter thread where he cops to the theory behind the pedagogy — but still insists it’s racist to suggest it’s being taught in K-12 schools — because the curriculum taught at that level is just black history, you disgusting rubes.

PS3/ Any state statute that references "critical race theory" as what it's banning in K-12 curricula can be IGNORED, because CRT isn't taught at that level. Ever. Anywhere.

Sadly, for the apparently uninformed Abramson, the National Education Association (NEA), the largest teachers union in the country, has openly decided to adopt CRT pedagogy in most subjects.
One of Abramson’s followers tried to inform him of this fact. Whether or not it penetrated Abramson’s skull is up for debate.

A columnist at National Review characterizes what Abramson and others have fallen prey to (ostensibly, although many are likely willing players): little more than a protracted effort at gaslighting by teachers unions.
As this nationwide movement reached critical mass, the Left scrambled to defend their extreme, wildly unpopular ideology. So CRT supporters brought in the big guns: the National Education Association. At their annual conference last weekend, the nation’s largest teachers’ union announced a six-figure campaign to “have a team of staffers for members who want to learn more and fight back against anti-CRT rhetoric” and an official position that “in teaching these topics, it is reasonable and appropriate for curriculum to be informed by academic frameworks for understanding and interpreting the impact of the past on current society, including critical race theory [emphasis ours].” The announcement exposed the source of CRT in schools: not necessarily individual teachers, but a coordinated left-wing campaign that includes massive teachers’ unions.

The official left-wing talking point, “CRT is not being taught in schools,” was repeated ad nauseam over the last two months by liberal think tanks, the mainstream media, and progressive politicians alike, in an attempt to gaslight Americans and convince them that they were crazy for wanting to protect their children from the Left’s indoctrination. But the NEA resolution destroyed that narrative — and their woke allies noticed. Soon after the NEA convention concluded on July 3, they removed every business item from their site, including all items mentioning CRT.
American parents owe many thanks to Abramson for the admission that Marxism is being openly taught in American schools — he stresses GRADUATE schools and ACADEMIC THEORY, but where does he think teachers emerge from? Now that the NEA has pulled the covers back, we know that CRT is, indeed, being thrown at young American schoolchildren; not as theory, but as an instructional method for examining the world. A communist lens through which to view — well, everything. Admitting the problem is the first step to addressing it.
