As we reported the other day, former Border Patrol Chief Rodney Scott put the situation at the border fully on Joe Biden. 

We handed them the most secure border in the history of the United States and a roadmap to keep it that way and make it even better. 

Through 94 executive actions, President Biden completely destroyed border security.

Joe Biden and his team want to convince you that they care about border security. But all he seems to care about is processing people to get into the country faster. He does not seem to care about security and preventing people from getting in. 

One clear example of that is what another former Border Patrol Chief, Raul Ortiz, has said. Ortiz was Chief from August 2021 through May 2023 under Biden. He says he has never had a conversation with Biden or Kamala Harris.

"I've never had one conversation with the president or the vice president, for that matter," Ortiz said. He said he was the chief in command of 21,000 people. "That's a problem" that they weren't talking to him, he explained. 

Fox's Bill Melugin noted all the crazy stories that were happening then and Biden or border czar Kamala and never even talked to him?

Wow.

So where's all that work that Kamala was supposed to be doing if she didn't even talk to Ortiz? 

But it gets worse, as Fox's Martha MacCallum revealed while she was interviewing National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby.

MacCallum mentioned the question about not ever talking to Ortiz, but then she raised the issue that Biden had never spoken to the current Border Patrol Chief Jason Owens either — even with the current crisis that Biden now admits — before he met him in Brownsville last week. Kirby did not dispute that fact while claiming that Biden was "engaged with DHS." How can you be engaged if you aren't even talking to people? 

How is that even possible? It's possible if Biden doesn't give a darn about security. It's possible if he never asks for reports on the border from his chief. It's possible if all he cares about is letting people in and not keeping people out. Then he wants to spin like this is somehow Republicans' fault when the failure is all on him. The border was under control under Republicans, and it's a disaster under Biden. 

This certainly explains why Biden is so clueless about the border and just how low a priority it has been for him.
