President Donald Trump was the prime attraction at CPAC 2022 (Conservative Political Action Convention) in Orlando, Florida, on Saturday evening, with people lining up to get in to see him.
Trump being Trump, he held a fun meet-and-greet beforehand with one of his favorite things — McDonald’s.

“They’re going to find out the hard way starting on Nov. 8 and then again, even more so, on Nov. 2024, they will find out like never before,” Trump declared. “We did it twice, and we’ll do it again. We’ll be doing it again a third time.
“2022 will be the year that millions of everyday citizens will stand up to the left-wing fascists,” Trump said. He said we will continue to “make America great again.”
He hammered home one of his favorite and most important topics: the incompetence of Joe Biden, which has left us where we are today, with governments out of control stepping on individual rights, Russia invading Ukraine, soaring inflation, and the horrible condition of the border that had been under control when he was in charge.
"You could take the 5 worst presidents in American history and put them together and they would not have done the damage that Joe Biden's Administration has done in just a very short 13 months." pic.twitter.com/2SYfNhBLYS

He noted that with Biden you got a war in Europe and a war on American energy, but under him, we had energy dominance.

“The Russian attack on Ukraine is appalling,” Trump declared. “It’s an outrage and an atrocity that should never have been allowed to occur. It never would have occurred [under him]. We are praying for the proud people of Ukraine. God bless them all.”

Trump noted how Russia didn’t invade when he was president because they knew better than that, but now they saw the weakness of Joe Biden. As we reported earlier, most Americans agree with him, with 62 percent saying they don’t think Putin would have invaded Ukraine if Trump were still in charge.
Trump spoke out on behalf of the Freedom Convoy’s effort in Canada, talking about the importance of their effort to stand for freedom, for their “most basic rights.”
“A line has been crossed,” Trump said. “You’re either with the peaceful truckers or you’re with the left-wing fascists…We stand with the Canadian people in their noble quest to regain their freedom.”
Canadian conservative journalist Andrew Lawton took notice:

Trump pushed another of his favorite topics: defending the country.
"You can't defend Western Civilization if you would not be able to defend your own civilization. And that means we need borders that work, elections that are fair and free and not rigged, and crime that must be immediately stopped in our cities." pic.twitter.com/1aAJFKuRo7

He also skewered big tech, noting that their bias and trying to control information was why he set up Truth Social. He said that when they get back into office that they need to look into things like big tech interference in 2020 with the Hunter-Joe Biden scandal and how that affected things.

Trump had also given a few remarks apart from the speech, where he praised the bravery of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
