Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) should just learn to not weigh in on a subject unless she has some idea of what she’s talking about. She still hasn’t learned that lesson.
Better to be thought a fool than to remove all doubt.
She got it a dust-up with Fox’s Laura Ingraham after Ingraham jabbed her with this tweet.
The Doctor of Mixology will save us! https://t.co/I6mH9tGyFj

Ocasio-Cortez is basically accusing the virus of being racist. No, the virus isn’t racist, but NYC is both dense in population packed together with everyone using public transportation and dense with politicians like Mayor Bill de Blasio who was still encouraging people to go about their normal activities well into March, saying it wasn’t easy to get the virus.
But AOC didn’t like being belittled by Ingraham.
Didn’t you just put a doctor on your show who faked their employment at Lenox Hill hospital and touted a COVID “treatment” that you tweeted & Twitter had to remove because a man may have died trying self-administer it?
I’m sorry, why are you on TV again? https://t.co/Lfc6RvtBDS

Ingraham shot back:
Typical liberal. Doesn’t know the meaning of the phrase “admitting privileges” versus “employed by”—maligning a man who has spent his life teaching and saving lives of late stage cancer patients. https://t.co/omIV4IMlM7

Whoops. Apparently AOC completely bought the ridiculous media spin that President Donald Trump is somehow responsible if someone takes fish tank cleaner because Trump dares talk about the possible benefits of a drug for the Wuhan coronavirus. She doesn’t get that a properly prescribed drug is something different from a fish tank cleaner which isn’t supposed to be ingested.
NBC used pictures of the drug and not pictures of fish tank cleaner.

This whole thing was debunked and called out days ago, yet she’s still trying to throw it down. And she clearly hasn’t caught up with all the questions surrounding the history of the fish tank cleaner lady.
But she also hasn’t kept up with the FDA approving the anti-malarial drugs for emergency use for the coronavirus. Nor has she apparently seen the global study which found that hydroxychloroquine, one of the drugs touted by Trump, was the treatment doctors all over the world had found to be the “most effective therapy” so far.
Come on, New York, even you guys can do better than this.
