Tucker Carlson, host of Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” and his team obtained exclusive recordings of the National Basketball Association (NBA) that indicated the league wanted to put a check on former NBA player Enes Kanter Freedom who has been outspoken about the league’s ties with China, as well as Turkey and murderous dictator Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Kanter joined “Tucker Carlson Tonight” to speak about the issue. At the time of Kanter Freedom’s comments about the NBA-China ties, in one of the recordings, the NBAPA (Players Association) lawyer, Ron Klempner, said he had recently spoken with the league’s counsel. He wanted to have a “conversation about their concern right now is not so much what you are saying off the court but what it is that you’re saying on the court when you step onto the court.”

Recently, as RedState reported, Kanter called out LeBron James for criticizing the United States over the Brittney Griner situation.

Another recording portrayed Milwaukee Bucks owner Marc Lasry, who is linked to Bill Clinton, saying China will not do business with the NBA if athletes criticize their government.

“China’s taken a very aggressive stance, which is ‘If you want to b—h about us, you’re out’ – which I get it, it’s business.”

Kanter said those recordings are proof that China rules the NBA.

“This is the evidence of how a 100 percent American-made company is run by the Chinese dictatorship … And wake up, America. This is the league that you have been supporting and watching. Enough is enough. And this is unacceptable.”

Kanter says the NBA is upset because he spoke out about the China situation, hinting that is the reason why he is not on an NBA team anymore.

“They are mad because finally, someone from the inside – I played 11 years in this league, I’ve finally exposed them, and I’m saying it again. Enough is enough.”

Kanter was traded to the Houston Rockets, then quickly released by the team; he is currently a free agent.

Kanter played for the Utah Jazz, Oklahoma City Thunder, Boston Celtics, Portland Trail Blazers, and New York Knicks.

He called on the NBA to “stop bowing down to dictatorships.”

Kanter added that the NBA, like many other sports leagues, claims to “care about social justice,” but that only lasts until “it affects their money and business.”

That is a prime example of why LeBron James stayed quiet about the China and Hong Kong situation.

Kanter is spot-on. Sports leagues, especially the NBA, claim to care about social justice issues until it negatively impacts their bottom line.
