Consequences Delivered: Trump Expands Order Directed at 50 Gaslighting Intelligence Officers

You remember the rogue’s gallery of intelligence officers who put their names to a memo orchestrated by then-Biden campaign adviser Antony Blinken that declared the Hunter Biden laptop story was most likely Russian disinformation—despite the fact they had no solid evidence to support that conclusion. The New York Post was censored relentlessly on social media for their coverage of the sordid laptop, and Joe Biden was able to point to the memo during a presidential debate against Trump in 2020.

Had the public been more aware of the story—which was legit and was not Russian disinfo—the election could have easily gone the other way, and we would have been spared four long years of dismal Joe Biden rule.

On the first day in office of his second presidency, Trump revoked the security clearances of these "intelligence" folks who seemed to lack intelligence at such a crucial moment.

But he wasn't finished, and according to a Friday report in the Daily Wire, he’s decided to mete out further consequences.

Don’t try stopping by at a federal facility, guys and gals, because you’re not welcome:

According to the memo, miscreants like former CIA Director John Brennan, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, former Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, and one-time security adviser to Trump John Bolton are all on the naughty list:

President Donald Trump is taking further action against the 50 former intelligence officials who falsely suggested Hunter Biden’s laptop was “part of a Russian disinformation campaign,” instructing agencies to also ban those individuals from stepping foot in secure U.S. government facilities, according to a memo obtained by The Daily Wire.

The Jan. 29 cabinet memorandum, first obtained by The Daily Wire, expands Trump’s day-one executive order, which revoked the security clearance for the 50 individuals. Sent “on behalf of the President,” it orders the country’s top national security agencies to “revoke unescorted access to secure U.S. Government facilities from the 50 former intelligence officials named in the Executive Order.”

“These individuals no longer possess a need to access secure facilities, and as outlined in the Executive Order, do not have the appropriate security clearances to access classified information,” the memo states.

This tweet looks like an FBI wanted poster:

You will note that most articles about the effort to use unproven allegations to sway the electorate in Joe Biden’s favor refer to 51 intelligence officers, not the 50 mentioned in Trump’s memo. It is unclear why there is this discrepancy.

The end result is the same, however: these fraudsters have felt the acid taste of the humiliation they so richly deserve.
