The late financier Jeffrey Epstein is once again very much in the news as some of the infamous "Epstein docs" were finally released Wednesday, and some of the names of those who once associated with the convicted pedophile became public. There are a lot of famous folks who wish they'd never met the guy:

But what of his famous private jet dubbed the "Lolita Express" because he flew underage girls on it to his private island, Little St. James, in the U.S. Virgin Islands? The plane that allegedly hosted the likes of former President Bill Clinton, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, and others?

Turns out that it's going to be scrapped for parts, and the buyer of the Boeing 727 didn't even know about the plane's lurid past.

The plush private jetliner used by Jeffrey Epstein to whisk his VIP associates around the globe will be torn apart and scrapped, DailyMail.com has exclusively learned.

The notorious Boeing 727 – nicknamed the 'Lolita Express' – hasn't flown since 2016 and is racking up thousands of dollars in storage fees each year as it sits mothballed beside a Georgia runway.

Florida-based World Aviation Services paid an undisclosed sum for the decades-old tri-jet in March 2020 hoping to turn a profit or use the parts for a similar cargo aircraft in its fleet.

The unnamed buyer reportedly had no idea he was purchasing the former property of a convicted sex trafficker. "When I bought the plane I didn't know who he was or what he did with it," he said. "My business is aviation – not this Epstein s**t. Of course, I wasn't happy."

Eight years ago, Inside Edition gained access to the plane and interviewed former air hostess and masseuse Chauntae Davies, who said she was one of several young attractive women hired to jet set around the globe with Epstein and his associates and give massages and yoga lessons. Uh-huh.

Here is inside footage of the creepy carrier:

DailyMail.com entered the jet in 2020 and found the formerly fancy interior with its plush carpets and fluffy pillows was now moldy and covered in mildew. "There were numerous creepy pointers to its notorious former occupant, including a garish red couch, mirrored walls, monogrammed tissues and a bottle of baby lotion stored in a wood-paneled bathroom," the outlet reported.

Yuck.

Meanwhile, what happened to Epstein's island, Little St. James, often called "Pedo Island?" Turns out, it's being turned into a glitzy resort. I kid you not. Next time you've saved up some money and want to take the family on a little sun-soaked vacation, now you can bring them to the former leisure spot of a notorious pervert.

Billionaire Stephen Deckoff paid $60 million for Great St. James and Little St. James, with the smaller of the two hosting Epstein’s former estate.

According to reports, the co-founder of Black Diamond Capital Management hopes to inaugurate the new attraction sometime in 2025...

Much of the property on Little St. James will be refashioned, but Deckoff reportedly will not raze Epstein’s former residence.

Instead, developers plan to “convert” it into a glittering hotel.

Here's drone footage of Epstein's Island taken before the new developers bought it that shows that while it was beautiful, it was also decidedly weird with its bizarre blue and white temple:

Thanks, but no thanks -- there are plenty of other islands I could visit.
