It’s the time of year again when people start sending out their family Christmas cards.
Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky is no exception. The jovial Republican congresscritter, who sometimes likes to slap on the “Sassy Massie” hashtag when communicating with fellow conservatives on the Twitters, shared on Saturday what appears to be his family gathered around “O Tannenbaum” — but with a slight twist.
Merry Christmas! š

One of Massie’s former colleagues, Jason Chaffetz of Utah, who also sometimes has a twinkle in his eye when he appears on Fox News, had a little fun with his reaction to the photo:
If I ever go to visit the Massie home Iām going to make sure to let them know in advance that Iām coming https://t.co/pGd75BYQ7D

I’ll level with you, readers. I didn’t bother to count how many of the responses to Massie’s photo were from leftists, or even really read many of them. What’s the point? You know what they’re going to say in advance — totally predictable, ignorant blather about evil guns and the evil people who love them, et cetera. Besides, it’s the weekend. No reason to ruin a good mood, am I right?
Just in case any Democrats are looking in, here’s the bad news, if the congressman’s family photo bothers you: there is still a Second Amendment to the Constitution, as much as you may abhor to be reminded of the fact. Celebrating the bounty of God’s graciousness by holding legally purchased symbols of that God-given freedom should not be a problem — for you or for anyone. Period.
