Would somebody help Jill Stein out and let her know the election was over almost a month ago?
Thanks so much.
It appears that on Monday, Stein plans to hold a press conference and rally outside of Trump Tower, in an effort to get attention defend her push for recounts in several states.
The Hill reported on Stein’s latest pointless whining comments:
“We won’t stand down as Donald Trump and his allies seek to frivolously obstruct the legal processes set up to ensure we have a voting system we can trust and that all votes have been counted,” Stein said in a statement released Saturday.
Stein filed for a recount in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania, traditionally blue states where Trump narrowly won this year.
Trump and his lawyers have filed lawsuits in Pennsylvania and Michigan to try to block Stein’s recount effort, while one of his super PACs filed to stop the recount in Wisconsin.
I’ll offer a little grace here and say that if Hillary Clinton wanted a recount, maybe she could argue some grounds for a recount.
After all, even Donald Trump has said there were millions of illegals voting. If both sides claim there was wrong doing, then by all means, throw that good money after bad.
Jill Stein, however, was such a non-entity in the race, it’s highly unlikely that anything that would come from a recount would benefit her, in any way.
Stein has insisted that the recount is a non-partisan effort to ensure the integrity of the voting process, while Trump has called the effort a “scam.”
I’ve got to (*shudder*) agree with Trump, here.
If Stein was truly looking to ensure the integrity of the voting process, she’d be filing for a recount in North Carolina.
Either come to Raleigh or go home, Jill. You’re done, here.
