President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to blast CBS for its latest slate of Fake News reporting on the Ukraine War and over a story about Trump's negotiations concerning Greenland. Trump's rant was quite detailed, and he went as far as to call for CBS' broadcast license to be revoked.

Almost every week, 60 Minutes, which is being sued for Billions of Dollars for the fraud they committed in the 2024 Presidential Election with their Interview of Failed Presidential Candidate Kamala Harris, mentions the name “TRUMP” in a derogatory and defamatory way, but this Weekend’s “BROADCAST” tops them all. They did not one, but TWO, major stories on “TRUMP,” one having to do with Ukraine, which I say is a War that would never have happened if the 2020 Election had not been RIGGED, in other words, if I were President and, the other story was having to do with Greenland, casting our Country, as led by me, falsely, inaccurately, and fraudulently. I am so honored to be suing 60 Minutes, CBS Fake News, and Paramount, over their fraudulent, beyond recognition, reporting. They did everything possible to illegally elect Kamala, including completely and corruptly changing major answers to Interview questions, but it just didn’t work for them. They are not a “News Show,” but a dishonest Political Operative simply disguised as “News,” and must be responsible for what they have done, and are doing. They should lose their license! Hopefully, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), as headed by its Highly Respected Chairman, Brendan Carr, will impose the maximum fines and punishment, which is substantial, for their unlawful and illegal behavior. CBS is out of control, at levels never seen before, and they should pay a big price for this. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!
Trump's struggles with CBS are lengthy and legend, going back to the 2020 "60 Minutes" interview with the atrocious Lesley Stahl, where she pooh-poohed Trump's claims that his 2016 campaign had been spied upon. Claims that were subsequently proven true. In October of 2024, candidate Donald Trump filed a 10 billion lawsuit against CBS for election and voter interference. This was after it came to light that CBS heavily doctored a "60 Minutes" interview with then-Vice President Kamala Harris.
As our editor Bob Hoge reported,
CBS News’ long-running show “60 Minutes” interviewed Democrat presidential nominee Kamala Harris in early October—but presented two different versions of her answering a question about Israel. Clearly, one of those answers had to be deceptively edited.
Outrage ensued, yet CBS to this day has refused to release the transcript or the unedited footage.
Now Donald Trump is taking action—and suing the network for a staggering 10 billion dollars in damages, “stating the network practiced ‘deceptive conduct’ for the purpose of election interference in its interview with Vice President Kamala Harris."
After denials and digging in their heels, CBS ultimately turned over the raw Harris interview to the FCC, as Trump's lawsuit against them is being mediated by the lawyers. If we lived in saner times, after Trump's resounding victory in the November 2024 election, one would think CBS would quantify its losses, cut bait, and change course. Sadly, we do not live in such times. CBS continues to torch what little credibility it may have remaining, and after its programming of late, that is a minuscule amount. Between Vice President JD Vance making a meme out of the insufferable Margaret Brennan on "Face the Nation" to the still-atrocious Stahl having the unmitigated gall to ask a now freed 10-7 hostage if Hamas really meant to starve him, the network has hit rock bottom, bounced up, and crashed to the depths again.
After reading the transcript of Sunday's "60 Minutes" program which Trump referenced in his Truth Social post, it was as terrible as expected. It featured a Scott Pelley interview with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky, where Pelley played apologist for Zelensky while the Ukraine president whined to him that Russia cannot be negotiated with. Pelley continued in his lopsided puffery, painting President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin as evil meanies who were costing Ukrainians their lives.
From the CBS transcript:
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy (Translated): Our people have paid the highest price possible. There is no higher price. We have given all our money--all we have in terms of finances. But most important, we gave [the lives of] our people.
Those were the points Zelenskyy struggled to make in February as President Trump opened negotiations with Russia and, initially, excluded Ukraine. Then, Trump rewrote history, saying, falsely, that Ukraine had started the war and calling the democratically elected Zelenskyy...
Pelley then did some hand-holding, asking Zelensky how he felt when Trump called him a dictator.
Scott Pelley: When President Trump called you a dictator and said that Ukraine started this war, what did you think?
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy (Translated): I believe, sadly, Russian narratives are prevailing in the U.S. How is it possible to witness our losses and our suffering, to understand what the Russians are doing, and to still believe that they are not the aggressors, that they did not start this war? This speaks to the enormous influence of Russia's information policy on America, on U.S. politics, and U.S. politicians.
Pelley did everything short of giving Zelensky a foot massage. Who knows, after the cameras stopped rolling, he may have done just that.
I have not turned the T.V. on in my house in years.

Visiting family and CBS is playing this interview with Zelenskyy.
The amount of propaganda and lies is insane. They are calling the war in Ukraine a vanity war from Russia. pic.twitter.com/htZ8OdtWmu
A CBS News hit piece also dropped on Sunday, questioning Trump's "fixation" in looking to occupy Greenland. The spurious article featured commentary from an Inuit statesman, a professor at the University of Copenhagen, and a former Greenland finance minister. Very little objectivity and chock full of grievance-mongering. In other words, CBS' version of hard-hitting journalism at its finest <insert *eyeroll* emoji>.
Mr. Trump's Greenland fixation is offensive to Aqqaluk Lynge, an elder Inuit statesman who once represented the Arctic population at the United Nations. Around 57,000 people live in Greenland, a population that's largely Inuit, an indigenous Arctic people of Alaska, Canada, and Greenland. Greenlanders have united behind a mantra: we are not for sale, but we are open for business. And Lynge offered up a defiant message of his own.
"If you should try something in the Arctic, you should be very careful," Lynge said. "I think we should say, ice is slippery."
So is that slope that CBS is on, and they've slipped and fallen on it a number of times as they quickly tumble to the bottom. While FCC Chairman Brendan Carr will no doubt tread judiciously in dealing with how best to address the network, their focused and incessant propaganda campaigns against the Trump administration are not only foolish but possibly suicidal.
Editor's Note: The mainstream media continues to deflect, gaslight, spin, and lie.
