Though Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) mostly seemed to fade into the woodwork after her first two or three years in Congress, she's had a resurgence of sorts in recent weeks, thanks in large part to Sen. Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY).
Schumer, as RedState readers will recall, is on the "outs" big time with Democrat Party diehards over his decision to cave to Republicans and President Donald Trump on the CR back in March. TDS sufferers on the left viewed that as a betrayal of epic proportions, so much so that talk of primarying Schumer began, with AOC's name being floated as a possible 2028 challenger.
Though the self-described leader of the so-called "Squad" of Democrat Socialist radicals in the House has dodged questions on the matter, she and her icon, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), went on a cross-country tour after President Trump was sworn in for his second term, presenting themselves as the faces of the party and warning of an "oligarchy," alleging that rich people in both major politcal parties had "failed" working class Americans.

But while AOC was traveling to the Bernie rallies and yelling about how the rich were allegedly taking control of the country, what she wasn't telling you was that she was taking first-class flights, likely spending over $1,000 a ticket and contributing to the so-called global warming crisis while she was at it:
“Nothing says, ‘Power to the people’ like ignoring voters looking to say hello and reclining in first class while tweeting about income inequality,” the flier who took the photo told The Post — claiming that AOC did not respond to friendly comments once she sat down.
“AOC is fighting the system one first-class mimosa at a time,” said the passenger, Tracey, who is from Brooklyn and was sitting in the economy cabin.
[...]
First-class seats on planes also have been widely derided by climate-change activists because they typically produce many times the carbon emissions of economy seats since they take up more room, thus reducing the number of people able to fly at one time.
So great.

How can she be expected to Fight the Oligarchy™️ without priority boarding, extra legroom, complimentary drinks & hot towels?@nypost: “AOC flies first-class to Bernie Sanders’ ‘Fight Oligarchy’ rally”https://t.co/hwhiL8J8le
This is, of course, not the first time AOC has been caught in a rules for thee but not for me situation.
During the height of the coronavirus pandemic and as Democrats and media figures alike were hammering Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) for his more freedom-based approach to combating the virus in contrast to the draconian approach used by then-NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D), AOC and her boyfriend, Riley Roberts, were caught vacationing in Florida maskless:

His response at the time was classic DeSantis:

Typical Democrats. They'll advocate for rules and laws for the working class people who they say they want to protect but then will claim exemption themselves. Love seeing these "man/woman of the people" leftists get exposed and called out. I really do.
