President Joe Biden’s first 10 months in office has been a series of clusters, one right after the other and some simultaneous, from him bizarrely handing off the southern border crisis to his infamously inept Vice President Kamala Harris, to his gross mismanagement of the coronavirus pandemic, the catastrophic and deadly failures of his Afghanistan exit strategy, the inflation woes brought on by his disastrous handling of the economy, and everything in between. All of these are crises that are still playing out in real-time as we speak and with no end in sight.
But in the midst of us all sitting around with bated breath waiting for the next likely preventable Biden administration screw-up to unfold as it inevitably will, a video emerged last week that in my opinion should be considered (or at the very least be in the top five) the defining video of Biden’s failed presidency.
Now before I get to the clip, let me say upfront that I know there will be people who will argue that the video of Biden stumbling multiple times while trying to go up the stairs to board Air Force One back in March is the definitive video of his presidency. My point is not to make a case against such opinions because in my view it’s a very close second to the one below.
It’s a video of Biden staring blankly at reporters as they yell out questions to him on some of the pressing issues of the day. Outside of a brief wave, he ignores them and continues walking away from them in a robotic fashion before preparing to board Marine One.
Watch:
WATCH: Joe Biden stares at reporters while ignoring their questions.
“Can we ask you about inflation?”
“What’s your message to Americans concerned about disruptions in the supply chain?”

Every action he took in that video, from bypassing the reporters to looking at them aimlessly while walking away stiffly – every bit of it was a symbolic and depressing reminder of Biden’s failures to date as President, most notably the one where he feels like he owes no answers whatsoever to the American people for the damage he’s done and continues to do as people continue to struggle to make ends meet and go about their lives as best they can in the middle of the pandemic as the tiresome mask wars rage on.
The reminders were also present during his presser last week on the supply chain crisis. He came out and gave a scripted statement and then walked off without taking a single question. This was not lost on many people, including media critic Joe Concha who got right to the heart of the matter when he mentioned how Biden “doesn’t have the confidence in his own arguments” to call off his aggressive handlers:
President Biden addresses supply chain issue in scripted remarks. Leaves without taking one question. Again. His handlers simply won’t allow it, and it speaks volumes he doesn’t have the confidence in his own arguments not to override them.

Making matters worse is the constant gaslighting we see from various figures in the administration who actually want us to believe this is the most transparent administration EVER with the press, when the exact opposite is true. This from the man who promised to “restore” the relationship between the press and the White House:
WATCH: Jen Psaki says Biden “always fights for more [press] access.”

It’s all sound and fury, signifying nothing – and that’s exactly the problem. Joe Biden is a caricature of a President, a puppet of the radical left and senior administration officials who have to routinely pull his strings and play clean-up when he messes things up, which must be an exhausting job since it’s a near-hourly occurrence with this President.
But back to the video, as I watched it, it made me sad, because regardless of what one thinks of Joe Biden, America needs a President who regardless of party affiliation can at least put on a good show of knowing what’s going on and looking engaged and interested, because our enemies are watching. These are the basic functions of a President, and Joe Biden just cannot do it.
The writing was on the wall with Biden early on in his presidential campaign, but the mean tweets were more concerning to a majority of people in the run-up to the election, I guess, and as a result, here we are.
They can’t say we didn’t warn them about this guy, though, because we most certainly did. Oh well.
