Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX), speaking at a House hearing on Wednesday, suggested President Donald Trump's efforts to negotiate a peace deal between Ukraine and Russia could lead to World War III.
Understand that this woman is slowly becoming the leading voice in the Democrat Party right now. A media darling who now represents the resistance. And they don't care that her ability to reason and work through logical arguments is virtually non-existent.
Crockett, who has recently made multiple comments about the American people being too stupid to understand the complexities of the Democrat Party, went on a wild rollercoaster of a rant about Trump placating Putin and thus leading to the next "international crisis."
"It is time for us to say, Mr. President, guess what? Russia invaded Ukraine. Can we — can we at least agree on that one? Facts matter," she said, clearly not grasping the facts.
"Y’all, this is literally potentially putting us into an international crisis," added Crockett. "We may be heading towards the next World War because we have a president that wants to pal around with Putin and wants to do everything to make him feel good, including lying about who invaded who.”

Ms. Crockett is referring to comments made by the president in which he initially suggested Ukraine started the years-long conflict. But, like somebody who takes in their news from the dinosaur legacy media, Jasmine is a little behind the times. Trump later clarified the remarks.
"Russia attacked, but they shouldn't have let him attack," Trump told Fox News Radio, alluding to the fact that the Biden administration could have helped avert the ongoing crisis.
She also fails to grasp that the president's negotiation style involves making remarks to draw both parties in for their best interests. Ukraine, for the first time in years, is now forced to reckon with the fact that the American president is not blindly siding with everything they're selling. Russia, for the first time in years, is now actively involved in the negotiations.
Read "The Art of the Deal," people. You'll find Trump's avid use of exaggeration and hyperbole while sometimes necessarily being "confrontational" with the other side to extract the best possible agreement.
"I prefer to be cooperative and positive, but sometimes it’s necessary to be confrontational when the other side is treating me unfairly or trying to take advantage of me," Trump wrote in his 1987 best-seller.

We've seen evidence of this negotiating tactic both in the aforementioned comments and when President Trump chided Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky by suggesting his refusal to hold elections during wartime amounts to him acting like a "dictator."
Crockett, though, can't wrestle with that type of complex logic (the famed 4-D chess by Trump). In her mind, Trump loves Putin, end of story. As a result, Trump will start World War III.
This time, his tactics will bring about a nuclear war. For sure. Definitely. For real this time, you guys.
Just like they tried to tell you when he was dealing with North Korea. Just like they said when subverting the president's ability to respond to China in the waning days of his first term. Just as they said when Trump killed Iranian military commander Qassem Soleimani.
In reality, he eased tensions with North Korea by holding summits with leader Kim Jong Un and established multiple peace deals in the Middle East through the Abraham Accords, an achievement previously viewed as an impossibility.
The man is quite literally the greatest peace negotiator in the modern era.
Oh, and you know who wasn't in charge when Russia invaded Ukraine? I'm willing to bet Jasmine Crockett doesn't.
