Four More Dems Continue Down the Train Wreck Path, Now in El Salvador

How committed are Democrats to going off the tracks, aligning themselves with illegal alien and alleged MS-13 gang member Kilmar Abrego Garcia?

Apparently so committed on the train wreck path that they went to El Salvador anyway, even though they were denied Congressional money and American taxpayer dollars to support their trip by House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer in a very blunt statement.

We reported how Rep. Maxine Dexter (D-OR) was going.

She was also joined by Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA), Rep. Maxwell Frost (D-FL), and Rep. Yassamin Ansari (D-AZ).

You would have thought they would have learned something following Maryland Sen. Chris Van Hollen's trip and how that came back to bite him. He ended up embarrassingly defending himself and "Margarita-gate." He then made a disastrous round of the Sunday shows where he refused to acknowledge any of the evidence regarding Abrego Garcia and MS-13. He even started to identify him as an "American" before he corrected himself. He also indicated that the American taxpayers paid for his trip,

The new group attempted a rebrand of Abrego Garcia when they got there was something else. They identified him as "a Maryland man with protected legal status who was unlawfully deported by the Trump Administration." They demanded that he be brought back.

That's of course misleading. He's an admitted illegal alien. Having a withholding of removal order doesn't make you "legal." They ignore some of the court proceedings that he has received, painting him as a "kidnapped immigrant" -- which is nonsensical. They ignore the fact that courts found he had a connection to MS-13, and the fact that he had a deportation order. They're trying to tell El Salvador what to do with their own citizen. The big thing here is that even if they were somehow able to get him back to the U.S., he could then be legally deported elsewhere. So whatever they do he's never going to be staying here as a "Maryland man."

Frost gave a whiny, snotty response to Comer's denial of their request and called it "shameful." "Good thing I don't need Comer's permission to get on a plane,' he said.

Yes, but Frost does need his permission for the American taxpayers to pay for it.

What's shameful is their virtue signaling. But now they have to do it on their own dime.

It wasn't going over well.

People pointed out how they weren't advocating for Americans and suggested the ads write themselves.
