Vance Dunks on Protesters and Delivers the Message of the 'Great American Comeback'

One of the great things about Vice President JD Vance is his ability to convey the Trump administration's message in a simple and intelligent way.

We saw this when he took on historian Niall Ferguson over Ukraine, but he's also delivering the message on the work the administration is doing to turn around the economic mess that Joe Biden left. It's so important to have good messaging in addition to the achievements when the Democrats are lying about what's going on at every turn.

On Friday, Vance was in Michigan at Vantage Plastics to highlight the effort of the administration to bring back and support manufacturing.

Vance started off by dunking on the protesters who were outside in the middle of the day.

We've got this great event, this great facility, great business, and, of course, great workers.  And I'm sure all of us saw there were a few protesters outside.  And I can't be the only person wondering, you know, “It's a little after noon on a Friday, and don't you all have jobs?” [...]

And -- and I think that’s -- that’s one of the reasons why we've got to rebuild American manufacturing and support great companies like Vantage Plastics, because we want those people to get off the streets and back to work. It'd be good for them, and it'd be good for everybody else too.

How great is that? He's shown he has absolutely no problem standing up to the left when they protest him or even try to boo him at the Kennedy Center. It just makes them look bad.

Then Vance got to the big topic of his remarks: the economy and the importance of bringing back manufacturing. Vance spelled out the problem that Joe Biden had left behind including "sky-high prices" and unbelievable debt.

But Vance said we have started on the "Great American Comeback," highlighting the manufacturing gains in the short time they've been in office.

This February, the president’s first full month in office, America gained 10,000 manufacturing jobs.  Now, compare that to last year, when under the Biden administration, we were losing an average of about 10,000 manufacturing jobs per month.  That’s over 100,000 jobs in manufacturing lost in a single year under Joe Biden.

We're also seeing core inflation at its lowest rate in four years, with prices for things like eggs and gas coming down.

What going to help the comeback? Making it affordable to make things in America.

Vance pointed out how just in seven weeks, they've already managed to bring in $2 trillion in investments from companies in building or expanding companies in this country.

Then Vance explained why they thought tariffs were important.

"You hear people saying, “Well, how dare Donald Trump impose tariffs on foreign countries that have been taking advantage of us for 40 years.”

"And the answer is that unless you’re willing to use American power to fight back against what’s -- what those countries have been doing for a generation, you are never going to rebuild American manufacturing, and you’re never going to support the American worker."

That's the thing some are not getting, so it's good for him to pound that home.

And so, now we have an American media that says, “How dare Donald Trump stand up for the American worker.”  I think I speak for the American worker when I say, “Thank God for President Trump for finally standing up for the American worker.”

Now that's a banging speech, focused on the right things and dropping the receipts of the payoffs they're already seeing.
