Donald Trump Jr. Mocks Media With Mic Drop Response Over Report About Him Running for POTUS in 2028

Ah, the media. What would they be, if they weren't pitching stories about division?

My colleague Sister Toldjah reported earlier about a New York Times report of a fight between Elon Musk and Secretary of State Marco Rubio. Trump shut that down cold, saying he was there and he should know. But it was a silly story they were trying to work into a real division, when what the meeting actually appeared to be about was emphasizing coordination. Not everyone is going to agree on everything.

But that wasn't the only story that the Trump team was shooting down and calling b.s. Turns out there was a Trump double-header on division stories on Thursday, with the Trump family serving up a shutout on the media.

Mediaite ran a story claiming that Donald Trump Jr. wants to run for president in 2028, citing "sources." Because of course. It's always "sources."  And this despite the fact that he recommended JD Vance to his father and their friends. But deep down in the story, they buried what Trump Jr. said.

As Charlie Kirk described it, Don Jr. just torpedoed the media outlet with "one of the all time great quotes." It's obvious Don is the son of his father, as he ripped into them for trying to foster division with his friend, JD Vance.

I accurately predicted that my buddy JD would be an instant power player in national GOP politics, so your theory is that I worked my ass off to help get him the VP nomination because I want to run for president in 2028? Are you f**king retarded? I’m actually glad you’re printing this b***sh*t though because at least now the rest of the press corps will see how sh***y your “sources” are and how easily you’re played by them. Congrats, moron.

Alrighty, Don, don't hold back there, tell us what you really think. Now, I think it's fair to call that a rebuttal and a rejection of the story. Not to mention a "murder" and a burial of the story, all in one.

Not that he needed to, but Don Jr. served up a little more derision to the folks at Mediaite, calling it the most "obviously fake" story about him yet, and referencing a report that even other reporters were mocking the story.

Bottom line? We always need to employ a 48-hour rule with any stories like this, until the Trump team weighs in. They're showing they have no tolerance for what they view as efforts to divide them and they're just going to blast them into next week.
