GOP Rep Drops Big Truth Bombs About Biden and China on CNN Panel - With a Little Help From Scott Jennings

Republicans were certainly carrying the weight on Thursday, laying the problematic Biden administration bare with their reality checks during CNN panel discussions.

I wrote earlier about how Scott Jennings just nuked Biden's failed time occupying office into next week, and all the leftwing folks on the panel were left with was essentially a false "But Trump!" response.

But he and his Republican compatriot, Rep. Mike Lawler (R-NY), weren't quite done with Biden and the panel yet — this time on the question of Biden receiving money from China.

“I’m still waiting to see the proof of Joe Biden enriching himself. I take his brother and his son, perhaps,” CNN host  Abby Phillip said. That's when Lawler laid out the "direct line."

“I’ll give you the direct line. A Chinese company transferred money to a shell company owned by Hunter and Jim Biden that then transferred money directly to Jim and Sarah Biden’s shell company that then transferred the money to Jim and Sarah’s personal account, who then immediately wrote a check for $40,000 to Joe Biden. So to say that there was no evidence is not true.”

Presented with the evidence, Phillip then backpedaled to "Why wasn't he charged?"

"Trump was president for four years. He wanted to charge Joe Biden. Why did the charges not come? And I think that still remains an open question. If there is something illegal happening here, there should be charges on the basis of what you’re saying, and there have not been.”

That piece of evidence was produced during Biden's Department of Justice, not President Trump's first term. So, not being charged isn't the flex she might think it is. Indeed, that's part of the whole problem — why wasn't that and so much more pursued by Biden's DOJ?

Lawler brings Phillip up short, saying that Biden just pardoned his son Hunter for an 11-year period, not even just the crimes of which he was convicted. So there was a blanket cover of all the actions for all that time, including those that might touch on Joe Biden himself.

"He wiped the slate," Jennings said. "Jim [Biden] will be next, by the way," he added, and got a look from Phillip.

Then Phillip immediately ducked out of that segment.

Small wonder. She likely didn't want to have to deal with the reality.

Then, too, has she missed the pictures of Joe Biden introducing Hunter to Chinese President Xi and Chinese officials? What does she think that was about? But remember, Joe told us he never discussed his son's business with him.

What would the charges mean if Joe Biden is just going to pardon them? And as Jennings notes, bet your money that Jim Biden will get one, too. I also think the possibility is high, as I said before, that he may pardon himself. The only thing that might stand in his way is his ego and how it might look. But he'll say he has to to prevent "malicious prosecution" by Trump.

What will Phillip say then? So much for the "rule of law."
