Fulton County DA Fani Willis just keeps accumulating trouble like a bad penny.
As we reported earlier, the DA who is pursuing former President Donald Trump in an election case, is now facing a new report that after a whistleblower came to her about alleged possible misuse of funds, she was fired.

Willis did not dispute the allegations.

Yet this it the person thinking that she can pursue Trump for anything? That sounds like some big trouble for Wilis.
Now, there's more bad news for Willis in regard to the election case.
Ashleigh Merchant, the attorney for one of the other defendants in the case, Michael Roman, has now hit Fani Willis and her alleged paramour Nathan Wade, a special prosecutor in the case, with subpoenas requiring them to testify in the case later in February. The court is having a hearing on Feb. 15 over the allegations of the relationship. Roman is seeking to have the case dismissed because of the relationship between Willis and Wade.
Merchant also filed suit against the DA's office on Tuesday claiming that they weren't providing the information she had requested from them as they were required to.
“It is disappointing to have to file lawsuits to obtain access to records that the public is entitled to,” Merchant told AJC Wednesday. “We believe that transparency is vital to an open and responsible government and we hope that this can be resolved quickly so that we can get the public documents we are entitled to receive.”
The DA denied that and said they had turned over some of the information and were still compiling more for her.
Judicial Watch has also filed for records in the case.

Wade's wife wanted to have Willis testify in their divorce case about the use of funds, but they have a temporary settlement as to certain aspects of the case, so it's not clear if Willis will have to testify there. The judge has not made a decision on the question.
There are also investigations underway by the Fulton County Commissioners and the Georgia state Senate, seeking information and records from Willis, looking into possible misuse of funds. So it sounds like Willis had better be ponying up those records or she's going to be in more trouble. Then again, they just may sink her and the case against Trump.
