We’re frequently telling you about the incoherence of Joe Biden.

But unfortunately we have a lot of folks in Congress as well who don’t appear like they should be there anymore and not just because their politics are out of whack. We have a bunch of octogenarians or close to that age who should have left long ago. Indeed, a lot of the Democratic leadership falls into that category including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) who frequently leaves people thinking she has a physical health issue and/or too much liquid with lunch.

Unfortunately, another one of those people is Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) who is the chair of the powerful House Judiciary Committee who often seems not in good health.

Nadler had a fit over multiple issues during the hearing with Attorney General Merrick Garland yesterday.

As we reported, he got into a fight with Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), refusing to allow a video from Jordan to be entered into the record, likely because it put paid to the horrible picture the Democrats want to paint of parents who are questioning politicized agendas being taught to their kids in their schools.

Nadler also flipped out on Jordan and other Republicans at the hearing for not wearing masks, as he spoke without a mask because he was the recognized speaker. Jordan was actually wearing a mask when Nadler said that while others Nadler did not name were also without masks. Apparently, according to this illogic, the virus will just move around and skip Nadler and Garland because they have the magical protection of being “recognized to speak” and they wouldn’t be spreading it when they speak for the same magical reason.

Nadler appears to have missed progressive Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) in his chastising of members. While she had a cup in her hand, she was not “actively drinking or eating.”

But then Nadler may have had another problem and Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) called him out on it, saying that he was sleeping during the hearing.

Nadler has his eyes closed for at least 11 seconds, the length of the video. “@JerryNalder is sleeping on the job… again,” Boebert tweeted.

The House Judiciary GOP account also tweeted out her video, noting, “Maybe this is why he wouldn’t let us play our video.” That referenced the parents video that Republicans claimed Democrats didn’t want Americans to see.

Nadler has been accused in the past of almost nodding off during a hearing before in December, 2019 during the impeachment hearing of President Donald Trump.
