President Donald Trump and Attorney General William Barr have properly placed a lot of the blame for the rioting on Antifa. Trump declared them a terrorist organization and Barr said they would be bringing the full force of the DOJ to bear on them.

I don’t much like the term because that’s what they call themselves to sound more noble. Media used to have much more sense maybe even ten years ago, more accurately, calling them what they were – far-left anarchists, socialists, and/or Communists.

They’ve been around for decades in various forms and it’s still more accurate to call them a “movement” than an organization per se, inciting riots both here and abroad with the ultimate hope of stirring the revolution and overturning the U.S. system.

Their folks have overlapped with other groups like Occupy and there has been international involvement in the group, so when folks speculate on possible foreign influence, it should not be discounted. For example, as RT anchors who quit indicated they were told to promote Occupy at every opportunity as evidence of the U.S. imploding into chaos.

Part of the problem in dealing with Antifa is that media and Democrats have basically excused them, given them a pass or even endorsed them.

The son of the Minnesota Attorney General, Keith Ellison, the former acting head of the DNC, not only agrees with them, he just declared himself a supporter.

Jeremiah Ellison, who is a member of the Minneapolis City Council, noted in the tweet that he believes “white power” terrorists are actually the ones engaging in the looting, arson and other riot activities as violent sects hijack some of the protests against racial inequality and police brutality in the wake of the death of George Floyd last Monday.

“I hereby declare, officially, my support for ANTIFA,” Ellison said. “Unless someone can prove to me ANTIFA is behind the burning of black and immigrant owned businesses in my ward, I’ll keep focusing on stopping the white power terrorist THE ARE ACTUALLY ATTACKING US!”

This, of course, is a farcical claim. But it’s the Democrat/media current effort to deflect from that fact that it’s leftists, when we can all see the leftists in black bloc and on video committing the actions, while there’s no evidence of any involvement of “white supremacists.”

The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, as Keith Ellison previously endorsed Antifa as a direct threat to President Donald Trump.

Meanwhile, instead of the normal local prosecutor, the George Floyd case has been assigned to, you guessed it, Keith Ellison. He claims his past apparent stand in favor of Antifa is not a conflict and is “nothing.”
