There have been a lot of bad takes on the killing of IRGC terrorist leader Qasem Soleimani. We chronicled some of them here and here.
But so far, the winner of the prize for worst hot take is actress Rose McGowan.
She didn’t just express concern about possible reactions from the Iranians, she actually verbally prostrated herself before them, in our name.
In the words of our friends over at Twitchy, this is one “hot mess of crazy.”

Unbelievable. Not only to apologize on our behalf (no, Rose, we don’t apologize for taking out a terrorist who’s killed hundreds of Americans), but saying America is being held hostage by a terrorist regime.
Does she even have the slightest concept of what a real terrorist regime like Iran is like? Where women are locked up for not wearing their head covering and where gay people get tossed from the roof? Not to mention if you dare protest, you can get killed as 1500 folks did a month ago by Soleimani and his crew? That’s a terrorist regime not your fever dreams about Orange Man Bad.
A well deserved ratio. I think this wins the dumbest tweet I have ever seen. Why don’t we put you on a plane to Iran so you can grovel to their President in person. Good luck. You’re a woman. So.

Iraqis and Iranians are legitimately celebrating this man’s death; and our American bluechecks are crying. It is amazing.

Iran just slaughtered 1500 people in their own streets, Rose.
If you think you’re more oppressed than they are, hop on a plane and go find out.

Indeed Iraqis and Iranians are celebrating as we reported here and thanking President Donald Trump for taking Soleimani out.
“We do not know how to escape.” Easy. Just . . . leave. I can assure you, Charmed One, you will not be missed.

Dear rose, you are out of picture. We Iranians appreciate this attack on Soleimani, what we were longing for it for so long. I thank @realDonaldTrump He is the best that could happen to us. I hope he be elected again in 2020. World needs him.

Dear Rose, Please take your medication at the prescribed intervals. You do not speak for 52% of Americans. You are disrespecting them by using the wrong flag. Not one American is being “held hostage by a terrorist regime” here. If you don’t like America, you’re free to leave

Why don’t you go visit wearing what you normally wear and apologize. Let me know how that goes.

The Iranian people beg to differ with you #TnxPOTUS4Soleimani

Everything @TheDroneWarrior says is absolutely true. Couldn’t agree more.
