Joe Biden and lying go together like peanut butter and jelly. I mean, let’s be honest: we’re more surprised when the 46th president of the United States tells the truth than when he tells a big fat whopper. But it’s Joe’s world of delusions that’s something else. It’s almost like he caricatures himself on purpose.
Such was the case on Monday when Biden delivered a ridiculous speech — hosted by Al Sharpton’s National Action Network, no less — purportedly marking Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. How ridiculous was it? Pandering Joe suggested to the mostly black audience that car insurance is racist and homes owned by black people are worth less than similar homes owned by white people. That ridiculous.
Ah, but there’s more.
As reported by Fox News, Biden attacked the GOP for opposing his out-of-control, drunken-sailor spending habits — most recently, his massive, pork-stuffed, $1.7 trillion omnibus package — ironically calling Republicans “fiscally demented.” And in that creepy whispering into the microphone thing he does, Biden lied his head off about the federal deficit “by $350 billion,” promptly garnering “Three Pinocchios” from the Washington Post before proceeding to claim he’ll reduce the deficit even more in this fiscal year.
And this year? The federal deficit is down $1 trillion-plus. Hear me, that’s a fact.
Wait— when did you reduce the deficit the first time? Those three Pinocchios would like a word, Joe.
Let’s put it this way: you don’t need to be a federal budget or national debt genius to see through Biden’s claims as the complete crock of crap they are. Yet, his delusional shot at House Republicans:
These guys, they’re fiscally demented, I think. I don’t think they quite get it.
They “get it” quite well, Joe, and so do tens of millions of hardworking Americans who’ve continued to struggle because of your horrendous — and intentional — failed economic policies.
Speaking of those fiscally demented guys, more than a few Republican lawmakers fired back at Biden’s lies and delusional accusations. Among them, the new senator from Alabama, Katie Britt. Per Fox:
President Biden’s reckless tax-and-spend policies have fueled generationally high inflation and crushed Americans who are simply trying to make ends meet. He’s hired 87,000 new IRS agents while leaving our Border Patrol agents short-handed to deal with the unprecedented national security and humanitarian crisis he caused at the border. And he’s turned to just about every foreign adversary possible instead of unleashing American energy independence.
Can’t argue with Katie, Joe — and it appears she’s far from fiscally demented. The Alabama Republican continued:
Meanwhile, Republicans want to keep more money in hardworking families’ pockets, make life more affordable, not leave our children and our children’s children with a crippling national debt, secure the border, safeguard our communities from violent crime and the fentanyl epidemic, protect parental rights, and ensure our military is the best equipped, resourced, and trained in the world to keep our service members safe and our nation strong. I’m confident that the American people know which of these agendas is radical and which is simply good common sense.
Yep, that’s the perfect definition of “fiscally demented,” right there. [sarc]
Tennessee Republican Sen. Marsha Blackburn really took it to the paint against Biden’s farcical nonsense.
Since President Biden took office, prices have risen 13.7%, inflation has been above 6% for 15 consecutive months, and the U.S. debt has reached over $30 trillion for the first time in history.
Despite what the president claims, the Democrats’ reckless spending will add $4.8 trillion in new deficit spending over the next 10 years. If wanting a balanced budget is ‘fiscally demented,’ I’m not sure what you would call the economic devastation under President Biden’s leadership.
Bad form, Sen. Blackburn. How many times do I have to explain to you that citing facts, data, history, logic, or common sense during a debate with a Democrat is poor form? Totally not fair, in other words. Shame on you. [heavy sarc]
Finally, Texas Republican Rep. Ronny Jackson finished off Biden’s ironic charges and claims with a bang:
[Biden] has absolutely zero self-awareness. Attacking Republicans, calling us ‘fiscally demented’ while Washington Democrats spent at historic levels during the Biden administration to fund their Green New Deal and other liberal priorities is hypocritical.
The new Republican House majority is dedicated to improving the lives of the American people by lowering taxes, balancing the budget, and working to get our country out of debt. Meanwhile, the Biden Administration is dead set on putting America LAST!
To paraphrase a line from the epic movie “Tombstone,” Democrats can’t help it, Ronny — they were born that way. Born into the life of a Democrat, that is.
As I reported in June 2021, even Biden’s own budget chief Shalanda Young, the director of the Office of Management and Budget said Biden’s budget was in effect dead on arrival without “trillions in tax hikes.”
The Bottom Line
Like all Democrat politicians, Biden — make that Biden’s handlers — know full well that Biden’s fiscal dog don’t hunt. Moreover, Democrats also know their rank-and-file base buys their lies and distortions, hook, line, and low-information sinker— as they have for six decades.
That, RedStaters, is far more important to the Democrat Party than fiscal responsibility, the southern border, race relations, and everything else they intentionally destroy. Why? One word: votes.
