President Donald Trump on Wednesday called out President Biden for his plan to “cancel” student debt.
As we know, nothing is free, and this debt “forgiveness” will be passed to hardworking Americans – small business owners, farmers, electricians, truckers, machinists – and so many more – will get the shaft because of Biden’s reckless decision to “forgive” student debt, while the country still faces high inflation.
Trump wrote in a statement:
“Joe Biden and the Radical Left Democrats have just orchestrated another election enhancing money grab, this time to the tune of $300,000,000,000—and just like I predicted, it’s coming right out of the pocket of the working-class Americans who are struggling the most!”
That total could be as high as $980 billion over 10 years.
Forgiving student loan debt will cost between $300 billion and $980 billion over 10 years, according to analysis published in Bloomberg. https://t.co/Ii301aEqIe

Trump continued:
“Crippling inflation, unaffordable energy prices, and WAR—all things that should never have happened. But if that wasn’t enough, now Americans are bailing out College Administrators who fleeced students, and those who opted for Degrees there was no way they could afford.”
Trump concluded:
“America is a nation in decline, and the cliff into oblivion is within sight. Stop voting for Democrats! MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
On Wednesday, Biden announced the “cancellation” of $10,000 to $20,000 per borrower, claiming that about 90 percent of the people who would qualify make under $75,000.
As my colleague Nick Arama reported, the White House, per usual, had no answer when asked who would be paying for the student loan bailout.
So those hard-working Americans, including the people who went to college, earned their degrees, launched their careers, worked hard, and paid off their loans, will now have to pay for other students’ loans while not being reimbursed for theirs. The people who paid off their loans did the right thing; some want to pay off their loans and not have them “canceled,” yet Biden decides to move forward with his decision because he thinks it will benefit the Democrats in November. The loud part of the Democratic Party doesn’t think he’s going far enough. Of course, the leftists want more and are never satisfied with anything. Some suggest Biden cancels all student debt which would cost roughly $1.6 trillion. Some want him to cancel $50,000 in debt, but none of the leftists seem to want to get started in their profession, actually work, and pay off their loans.
So, Biden thought this would be a smart tactic before the midterm elections. Personally, I think this will do more harm than good for the Democrats because of what I mentioned earlier. Those who were responsible worked hard and paid their loans; those hard-working Americans who did not go to college; now have to pay for students who have collected debt.
I moved to DC in 2013 — 2 years after graduating college
Made $10/hr as an intern = $1600+/month pretax salary
$405/month student loan payments.
Without a dollar from anyone, I paid off $45kWorked nights at Ann Taylor to make ends meet
It’s why I don’t need a handout today

Instead of making sure that universities make education more affordable and pay off the students’ debt, they make the taxpayers foot the bill.
How about instead of asking farmers, machinists and cops to pay off other people's student loans, we ask the universities with billion dollar endowments to pay it off themselves?

Going to college and taking out a student loan is a choice. The choice comes with responsibility. It is no one’s choice to be diagnosed with cancer, yet they have to pay their medical bill. But I don’t see a conversation about medical debt. Why? Because it does not benefit the Democrats politically.
The American people will not forget this in November.
