Are you sitting down? Good. Because there will be protests in conjunction with President Donald Trump's commencement weekend speech at the University of Alabama. The University of Alabama College Democrats and the Democrat Party needed to present a show of resistance, and as Al Sharpton would say, "resist we much."

UA College Democrats and the state Democratic Party are holding a "Tide Against Trump" rally from 5 to 7 p.m. in Tuscaloosa's Snow Hinton Park. Former U.S. Representative from Texas Beto O'Rourke is planned to speak at 5 p.m. Former U.S. Senator Doug Jones, and current Senate candidate Kyle Sweetser are also listed as attending.

This is our shocked face. But what's even more shocking is the speakers they lined up. How pathetic can you be when the only Democrats you can rouse are two-time loser Beto O'Rourke and one-term wonder Doug Jones? And who exactly is Kyle Sweetser? This much I am sure about: the Republican bench lined up to take Tommy Tuberville's seat is not breaking a sweat.

Pathetically, this is the best the Democrats can muster. Alabama radio host Dale Jackson weighed these protestors in the balance and found them wanting.

"Tide Against Trump" is the business casual protest  that will be going on for 4 hours at a random park in Tuscaloosa becuse Trump is giving a speech on campus.

The cosplaying as revolutionaries isn't even good...

Come on, stand in the school house door or dress as Confederates and take on the tyrant from the D.C.

This is weak.

No kidding. As bad as dry cornbread or runny white sauce. It was further reported Wednesday that 50501 and Indivisible of Northport-Tuscaloosa also had protest plans in the works.

Indivisible of Northport-Tuscaloosa, local branch of the national Indivisible effort, joining forces with 50501 — a movement that began this year with an initial goal of 50 protests in 50 states on one day — will hold a "Trump Grabs UA By the Diploma" event from 4-7 p.m. in downtown Tuscaloosa's Government Plaza.

Their Facebook page said, rain or shine, and the forecast promised to be a wet one; so these protestors will not only be wet and bedraggled, but even more pathetic.

The Trump administration just celebrated 100 Days of Trump being in office and all that has been accomplished in that short space of time. While there is much still to be done, incredible strides have been made to ensure Trump's campaign promises are being fulfilled. Fixing the Southern border topped many lists, and the difference between the number of illegal crossings in May 2024 versus the number in May 2025 is like light years. The prices of eggs and gas have fallen along with inflation, and a plurality of Americans feel the country is headed in the right direction. Yet, there is still a contingent of the country so TDS-riddled that they cannot separate the person from the policy, and what those policies have accomplished for the good of the country. Even the young (and far left) radicals running rings around the Democrat Party fossils can find something to admire about Trump and the fact that he gets things done, whether you agree with what is being done or not.

If the Trump Tariffs work as intended, the DOGE-recommended cuts actually save the American taxpayer money, and the Ukraine War does come to an end, what exactly will these protestors have to twist about?

But these are Democrats: if a crisis doesn't exist, they'll simply manufacture one.
