While Biden Thinks Women Are Being Impregnated by Their in-Laws, Trump Nails Him on 'Biden Migrant Crime'

If I expected one thing from President Joe Biden in Thursday's debate, it was for him to be strong on the issue of abortion. Monday was the two-year anniversary of the Dobbs decision, and this issue has dominated the national conversation and Democrat's campaigns ever since the Supreme Court struck down Roe v Wade.

But, instead of a full-throated appeal to so-called women's rights, Biden bizarrely claimed that lots of American women are being raped by their in-laws and their brothers and sisters.

Biden said:

But here's the deal, a lot of young women are being raped by their in-laws, by their spouses, by their brothers and sisters.

Even during Pride Month, women can't get pregnant by their sisters and thus seek an abortion, as my RedState colleague Nick Arma wrote about here:

Former President Donald Trump shot back, using the fumbled assertion -- the kind of quote that Biden normally gets away with in the mainstream media -- against him.

Trump said:

There are many women murdered by the same people he [Biden] allows to come across our border. We have a border that's the most dangrous place anywehre in the world, considered the most dangrous place anywhere in the world. And he opened it up and these killers are coming into our country and they are raping and killing women, and it's a terrible thing.

During the debate, Trump said he had coined a term, "Biden Migrant Crime," while Biden inadvertently reminded me that his son Hunter carried on a relationship with his brother Beau's widow. While incest may be a front-of-mind issue for Biden, for most American women, their in-laws are not sexually exploiting or assaulting them. Meanwhile, as Trump correctly points out, it seems like every day in the news, a new little girl is being raped and/or murdered by an illegal immigrant, or more than one illegal immigrant in some cases.

Last week, a Turkish migrant was arraigned in Albany, New York, on charges of raping a 15-year-old girl. He crossed the border illegally into San Diego in November and was released into the country with a February 2025 court date due to a lack of bed space available, Homeland Security told the New York Post.

This adds to the growing list of victims in the American public's consciousness, including the tragic rape and murder of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray at the hands of two Venezuelan illegal immigrants and nursing student Laken Riley, who suffered the same fate at the hands of Jose Ibarra, another Venezuelan in the country illegally. Rachel Morin, a mother of 5, was raped and murdered by an El Salvadorian illegal immigrant. Americans are painfully aware of these cases.

In his stupor, Biden made a false equivalency between incest and illegal immigrants raping and murdering women and girls. Of all the strange things Biden has ever said, downplaying the heartbreak and anger the American people feel as the border-crime casualties stack up might be the most baffling.
