In most circumstances, the American military ditching the woke nonsense that it's been using to recruit people would be a great thing, and to be sure, it would be refreshing under different circumstances. However, the reversal in the army's recruitment approach might be a frightening prospect.
You might remember the abortion of a recruitment ad the U.S. government released back in 2021 that featured an animated short about a leftist woman and her lesbian parents. The ad was mercilessly mocked by the general public, not just because it was cringe-inducing but because it was clear that the people the ad was trying to attract weren't going to sign up to fight for a country they openly profess hatred for at every opportunity, or at the very least, would be unable to fight with half the efficiency of your standard American male.

By 2022, the Army's recruitment numbers had indeed plummeted. Their attempts to recruit with virtue signaling resulted in very few people signing up, and not just from the pool they were looking to siphon from, but the average middle-American male stopped coming too.
However, as Streiff reported on Thursday, a sudden reversal in recruitment efforts hit. Once again, the Army's ads show a focus on masculinity, selflessness, and a value on strength and perseverance.
Probably more interesting is the demographic making up the videos, as Streiff wrote:
What's notable is the group is all male and nearly all white. Some of them may very well be homosexual, but you can't tell from the video. In fairness, some claim there is a single black woman behind the "YOU," but I'm not convinced that's correct.
This is a marked retreat from Army ads of at least the past decade. As someone on X, the social media platform formerly known as
PrinceTwitter, said, "White guys in an Army ad. The s**t just got real."
Why is the racial makeup of this ad something to pay attention to?
Because the population of white people in America far outstrips that of any other race by leaps and bounds. White people make up over 59 percent of the population while the runner-up is Hispanic/Latino at nearly 19 percent.
This means that the Army is now trying to draw from the deepest pool it can. It's almost like the Army doesn't have the luxury of playing around with virtue signaling anymore. It needs people.
The sh*t just got real.
The truth is that we're drifting ever toward global conflict. America is bleeding thanks in part to a suicidal mainstream culture and a leadership so weak that it can't finish sentences and asks for handshakes from people who aren't even there. America's blood is in the water and it's exciting the sharks.
We're currently funding two proxy wars, and our military lacks blood, bone, and muscle. We're divided as a people and the fighting-age men on both sides of the ideological spectrum are having a hard time justifying going to war on behalf of the country. As an economy, we're dead broke yet still spending like a teenage girl in a mall who doesn't understand the concept of credit.
As Americans, we've forgotten what it feels like to have our backs against a wall. The strength of our military and the power of our economy kept the wolves in the hills but both of these things have been severely weakened and our enemies are making plans.
As Ward Clark analyzed in early November, the three superpowers of the world are balancing on the edge of a knife and if things keep going this way, there's a strong chance that a global conflict could break out, through the economic collapse of all three superpowers is the more likely.

Still, our military seems to be at the stage of "better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it," and so it's begun getting serious about recruitment for its military force. It's stopped focusing on "diversity" and is now approaching white men, the group that it will have the most success with statistically.
It didn't have to be this way. Strength keeps the peace and the U.S. gave that up in the name of some arbitrary rules forced on it by an in-depth, multi-generational campaign by our enemies. We became obsessed with social ghosts we didn't need to be haunted by, and now we're far more interested in fighting one another in our ignorance than seeing to the glory and stability of our nation.
What does this ad filled with white patriotic men indicate? Not necessarily that World War 3 is on the horizon, though the chance is stronger than ever, but that we're a nation in decline and that it's become desperate enough to ditch its "values" in order to recover some in order to either defend itself or, at least, make a show of being able to.
If the U.S. truly wants to get its strength back, it'll have to do more than release a few ads featuring white men. It's going to have to stop promoting the idea that we're a country that can only be defined by its social sins and that in fighting one another we're fighting the wrong enemy. It needs to recover a sense of patriotism (we could take a lesson from Israel) as well as a truthful understanding of our history. It needs to remind the people that we really are the true last bastion of freedom by acting like it and that if we fall, there's nowhere else to run to.
We're it.
