Elon Musk Is Dangerous...and That's What We Need Right Now

Elon Musk is probably the most intriguing figure of our current times. There's no questioning that he's a brilliant man pushing humanity into the future, though it's safe to suspect that there's more to him than a man who wants a more free-speech-oriented internet and to make us a space-faring species.

In today's day and age, suspecting someone of having more motives than what they say they do isn't just par for the course, it's wise to do.

But the greatest clue we have that Musk is the real deal is the fact that what he's doing on the social media front by trying to make things more geared toward a free and open society is the fact that the Democrats and the media don't like him.

As Nick Arama reported on Monday, the media gave Joe Biden a leading question about Elon Musk's actions with X causing a rash of misinformation to hit the public:

"What about what Elon Musk has done to Twitter?" Harwood asked. "Lowering guardrails to misinformation, does that contribute to it?"

"Yeah, it does," Biden claimed. Then he said people go "online" to get their news, where they have "no notion of whether it's true or not."

The brutal truth is that not knowing whether something is true or not is a much safer place to be than being fed lies that are being sold as truth from "authoritative sources." In a sense, the proverbial "Wild West" is far better than a dictatorial state in terms of safety.

Chaos and freedom are cousins. Order and oppression are bedfellows. In the former scenario, you're free to believe or disbelieve what you want and the truth will be available to those who wish to find it. In the latter scenario, the truth is kept from you and those who seek it are punished.

Misinformation is a real thing, despite it becoming a leftist buzzword that Americans are sick of hearing. The thing is, misinformation can come from anywhere, including leftist sources.

Musk is opening the door to more misinformation. That is absolutely true, but in doing so he's also allowing the truth to enter into the picture as well. Over a long enough timeline, the truth always wins. Getting to it isn't always pretty, especially when you have entities that benefit from the truth staying as hidden as possible.

Especially when those entities are in the highest offices in the land and have the power of the corporate media backing them.

Is Musk a dangerous man for his work in releasing the holds and allowing free speech to reign? Yes. There's an inherent danger in freedom, but danger isn't a bad thing by itself. A scalpel is dangerous too, but in the hands of the right person, it becomes a life-saving tool. A gun is dangerous, but in the hands of a good person, it's the thing that stops evil in its tracks.

People should be striving to be more dangerous. Safety is, at the end of the day, a submission to order and while this is good in moderation, in the wrong hands, order becomes far more dangerous than chaos ever could be.

The Democrats and the media want this kind of order. They want to be able to control the narratives and force you to believe whatever they say. They want you to submit to their brand of "safety" whether what they're having you submit to is actually good for you or not. Even if you discover their "safety" is detrimental to the health of yourself or your family, their solution is that you need to submit anyway for the greater good.

And the "greater good" argument has millions of unnecessary deaths to its name.

Musk isn't perfect. He makes decisions that I disagree with sometimes, but it seems he's constantly trying to make things more free for people who utilize his business while working within the limitations of modern society and its skidding approach to advertising...moreover, it's making all the right people angry.

Between Musk and Rumble, we have islands of misinformation sure, but they sit on continents of truth the corporate media and the left wouldn't allow out into the public if they had their say.
