It’s the night of the living dead legislation, as the Democrats have killed a bipartisan bill they helped create in order to demand asinine additions that have absolutely nothing to do with helping the American people recover economically from the Wuhan virus pandemic. This includes demanding parts of the Green New Deal.

Waiting for the job to get done alongside the American people is President Donald Trump, who is showing he’s just as fed up as Americans, and even the mainstream media are, with the political gamesmanship Democrats have decided to play instead of doing what they were tasked to do.

Trump took to Twitter to let congressional Democrats have it, clearing up what this bill is really about since it seems they’ve forgotten. One thing he wanted to emphasize is that this is not about the “ridiculous” Green New Deal pushed by New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

To recap, the Green New Deal was a bill that was so ridiculous that even Democrats wouldn’t vote for it, instead choosing to vote present when Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell forced a vote on it after Democrats had talked it up.

Still, Democrats have taken parts of the bill even they wouldn’t vote on and are now demanding they be included in the stimulus package, holding it hostage until they get what they want. It’s unclear exactly why. I’m not sure even many Democrats get the reason behind the hold-up.

This may partly explain why they haven’t shown their face on the Senate floor to debate the reasoning behind killing the bill they helped create with Republicans, who have been on the Senate floor calling out the Democrats for this lunacy nonstop.
