Your source to mainline mayhem from mainstream media.
With a jam-packed weekend, we had plenty of press-based content for all of you in The Crimson Republic of California. And not just Oscar-related violence is featured!
Joe Biden has had a disastrous time of it during his trip to Europe, and the White House staff has been busy cleaning up the mess of his malaprops. Also suffering have been the news outlets, which had to shift from praise to covering for his foul-ups. Those have been coming in bulk this week, and really, the media may want to wait a day before reporting on anything he says, until the official word comes from the administration sources on what Joe really meant to say.
Another embarrassment is that the President was again found with prepared talking notes, and those came with pre-selected questions, which the press obediently followed in script fashion.
At the Oscars, beyond the Will Smith sucker-slap, they attempted to criticize the new Florida parents’ rights law — and only proved that these celebrities need to go back to school and learn to read. Meanwhile, Disney weighs in on the law and manages to unravel itself in the process.
Meanwhile, the Democrats and the press keep insisting that the GOP is being run by Q-anon, so I explore in depth how this is not only a foolish prospect but a wildly inaccurate one, at that.
And finally, there is some Brian Stelter merriment, as he gets presented with the uncomfortable reality that the Hunter Biden laptop is a story that needs to be covered, and he runs away from the story as quickly as a corpulent wretch can run.
