Perhaps no profession in the country has lost more luster over the last year than that of teaching. Teacher’s unions have taken the pandemic and used it to extract hundreds of billions of dollars from taxpayers while refusing to go to work. Meanwhile, they’ve continued to get paid because nothing has to make sense when it comes to the government, local, state, or federal.
One of the chief instigators of so much pain for America’s children has been Randi Weingarten, the head of the American Federation of Teachers. Just the other day she posted a selfie boarding a private plane, showing just how out of touch she is. She’s also continually ignored the science when it comes to the safety of kids going back to school.
But apparently, being a grifter and a political hack aren’t her only negative qualities. She’s also a rabid anti-Semite.

What I hear when I hear that question is that those who are in the ownership class now want to take that ladder of opportunity away from those who do not have it."https://t.co/Gdrdv0HeVY pic.twitter.com/dCxJbBD5bH

Yeah, about that kind of rhetoric. It’s kind of the exact thing the Nazis said to justify the extermination of millions of Jews during the Holocaust. This idea that Jews are the “ownership class” holding other people down has been a common anti-Semitic trope for centuries.
But this is the natural conclusion of critical race theory, something Weingarten apparently subscribes to in spades. When you start breaking Americans down into identity groups and assigning “privilege,” not on an individual basis, but via a communal assumption, you will always end up with anti-Semitism. Jews, like Asians in some regards, are more successful than most demographics. That makes them an enemy to those that push racist, woke theories about different groups of people. There’s a reason so many Democrat politicians have an open hostility toward Jews and Israel.
Further, let’s just note that Weingarten’s criticism makes no sense anyway. She was asked about parents wanting children back in school. What’s that got to do with Jews and taking the “ladder of opportunity away from those who do not have it?” A teacher actually getting off the couch and doing their job in one city doesn’t take an opportunity away from some kid in New York. In fact, the only ones taking said opportunities away right now for education are Weingarten and her cronies.
I’ll end by noting that Weingarten is an ally of Joe Biden and was considered for Secretary of Education. Imagine this nutjob being in that role. That almost happened, and it shows just how terrible the current administration is. It also gives you some insight into why they refuse to endorse a full reopening of American schools while children suffer.
