Brilliant: Spain Combines Boys and Girls Basketball Leagues

The fight over transgenderism and sports has been heating up the last few months. We’ve recently seen boys claiming to be girls dominating high school girls in track.

Yearwood, a 17-year-old junior at Cromwell High School, is one of two transgender high school sprinters in Connecticut, transitioning to female.

She recently finished second in the 55-meter dash at the state open indoor track championships. The winner, Terry Miller of Bloomfield High, is also transgender and set a girls state indoor record of 6.95 seconds. Yearwood finished in 7.01 seconds and the third-place competitor, who is not transgender, finished in 7.23 seconds.

Miller and Yearwood also topped the 100-meter state championships last year, and Miller won the 300 this season.

In the same vein of “equality,” some genius in Spain decided it’d be smart to combine boys and girls junior basketball leagues. 16-18 year old male and female teams ended up competing directly against each other and the results were probably even worst than expected.

“At these ages (16-18), putting them together is crazy, the differences is 50 points on average,” explains Victor Mut, coach of CB Benimaclet, one of those affected. The team, totally female has lost the illusion for basketball. “It is an absolute disappointment. I feel great impotence and anger because almost all the matches against boys are closed within minutes (when the difference is more than 40 points). As much as we work and train, it is frustrating,” explains Elena Cardo, a member of CB Benimaclet.

When the reigning girl’s championship team gets beaten 50-4 by an average boys team, maybe that’s a hint that boys and girls are different? Just a thought.

Let’s be honest. This is insane. Everyone knows it’s insane. A majority are just too afraid to say it for fear of public shaming and retribution. It is completely unfair to women to have them compete against men who are biologically built to be better athletes. Combining these leagues in Spain was clearly a move to appease the transgender movement and take the issue off the table, as there’s no other logical reason to do it. With schools across the United States starting to integrate “transgender females” with real girls, we are seeing more and more of these ridiculous stories being reported.

In reality, there’s no difference between having boys and girls compete against each other and having transgender females compete against females. The biology is the same and the outcomes are the same. These nonsensical pushes are going to do only one thing…Destroy women’s sports.

I could make a few jokes about that (looking at you WNBA), but in all seriousness, women across the world are putting their hearts and minds into doing something they love. They shouldn’t be punished and marginalized just to appease the latest progressive craze. The collective bullying of anyone who’s willing to admit basic truth about this situation needs to end. Reality is reality and feeding into mental illness at the expense of children is not a moral right.
