There's an old internet meme floating around, that portrays a big, hairy, heavily bearded, bare-chested man standing waist-deep in a river. In his hands is a huge salmon, which he is clearly about to take a bite out of. The caption is "My parents told me I could be anything I wanted to be, so I chose to be a man."
It's meant to be (and is) amusing, but there's a lesson hiding behind that meme - some of us, yes, are men, proudly and adamantly so, and we're proud of it. And we're the ones that the Democratic Party has, apparently written off. If the Democrats were trying to deliberately alienate men, what would they do differently? Nothing. They've already done their best to make men irrelevant in the family home. They deride traditionally-minded men as having "toxic masculinity." If we like guns, we're sexist; if we like trucks, we're toxic; if we draw breath, the fringes of the feminist movement attack us for taking that breath away from someone else, presumably someone who isn't a man.
The Washington Examiner's Conn Carroll has some thoughts.
On immigration, for example, few demographics are more supportive of open borders than college-educated white women. And few groups are less supportive of open borders than non-college-educated men.
And it is not just immigration where the Democratic Party has abandoned men. Colbert King wrote an important column this weekend on how Democrats have all but called fathers unnecessary.
“Some among the social services intelligentsia contend that a low-income, single-woman household can raise a cohesive family if given enough government help and cash,” King writes. “After all, goes the argument, Black women have strength beyond bloodlines, including supportive community connections.”
And it is not just black women. The foundational creed of the modern Democratic Party is that fathers are not necessary. All mothers need to raise children, according to the Democratic Party, are checks from the federal government. Marriage is just one choice among many for Democrats. If the mother doesn’t want the father around, that’s great. More power to her.
This isn't new, of course; Democrats have been trying to erase husbands and fathers from the American family since Lyndon Johnson's Great Society, which was supposed to end poverty - how has that worked out, again?
Men - even young men - are starting to tilt right, and they may be a deciding factor in November's general election. Joe Biden's support among young men is cratering, and his campaign seems clueless as to what to do about it - in addition to their just seeming clueless in general.
Trump supporters have wasted no time leveraging this:
What these Democrats don't seem to understand is that a society can't function without men - strong, capable men, the men who fight our wars, who build our homes, who lay asphalt for roads, who operate heavy equipment in mines and operate drilling equipment in the oil fields. These are overwhelmingly male occupations, as they are physically demanding and can be dangerous - but our modern technological society cannot survive without them.
More importantly, our society cannot survive long without strong, capable husbands and fathers. Since the times of Lyndon Johnson, Democrats have tried to replace fathers with welfare checks, and one need look no further than the vicious, feral youths that are all too common in our major cities to see how well that has worked.

National Democrats not only don't seem to understand this, they don't seem to care. Their national platform doesn't even mention men. The perfumed elites running the Democratic Party today have little or no exposure to the people who make things work in this country; I would bet money that not one in ten of the coastal elite libs personally knows even one person who has a job that requires showering after work, not before.
A backlash is beginning. It's happening all over, even on our college campuses, where young men - and young women - are standing up to the purple-haired, Hamas-supporting freaks.

Our country needs men. Our economy needs strong, capable, hard-working men; our families need strong, confident, competent husbands and fathers. We clearly can't go on with the way things are.
To any boys and young men out there, I can only say this: As you make your way through life in this ever-more-lunatic world, if anyone asks you how you "identify," or what your "gender identity" is, stand tall, look them in the eye, raise your chin, and say, loudly and proudly, "I am a man." Mean it. Earn it. Live it. It's a proud title.
