This Will Be the Fourth Time the House Has Voted on Impeachment, Why Are There Only Two Articles

A few hours ago, the House Democrats unveiled Articles of Impeachment against President Trump. They are as ridiculous as you’d expect any group project involving Adam Schiff and Jerry Nadler to be.

The question that is begged by these articles is why only two?

This is an important question as it goes to the very heart of the illegitimacy of the whole impeachment charade. Because this House has voted on three previous resolutions to impeach President Trump (major h/t to Phil Kerpen, give him a follow if you don’t already):

The first time was December 6, 2017

It got 58 votes.

On January 19, 2018, they were back at it

It got 66 votes.

The third time took place on July 17 of this year, just before the Ukraine nonsense took off.

This one, for insulting “The Squad,” got 95 votes, including that of Fat Jerry.

So, one has to ask, why was conduct by President Trump that was so out of bounds just five months ago omitted from the bill of impeachment. Those charges were all certifiably bizarre, but they are no less bizarre than what the House will be voting on this week.

When you look at the pattern, you see an increasing pressure by the looniest part of the Democrat caucus to press an impeachment vote before the 2020 election. This attempted impeachment is a monumentally un-serious act by monumentally un-serious people. At least it will be over very soon.
