Red-Hot at RedState

Taylor Lorenz Went on Sean Hannity, and It Was an Absolute Train Wreck

What's clear, though, is that Lorenz is a total lunatic. That she was ever taken seriously by the mainstream press is an indictment of their judgment that shouldn't be forgotten.

WATCH: Linda McMahon Uses Small Words to Explain to CNN Why Men in Women's Sports Is Always Terrible

Just like the Democrats rallying to save criminal illegals from deportation and demand they receive due process over the desires of its constituents to see America made safe, the Democrats continue to back losing issues for no other reason than it is in opposition to Trump and his agenda.

Anti-Trump Crusader Letitia James' Response to Possible Federal Charges Is Laugh-Out-Loud Hysterical

Luckily, we can be assured that if justice is needed, justice will be done. Ms. James has repeatedly assured us of that fact herself.

A Eye-Opening Study on Civilian Response to Active Shooters

Holistically, they found that a civilian response is more effective than uniformed police officers when it comes to stopping mass shooting events.

The Most Telling Thing About the Garcia Deportation Dispute

The passion isn't about justice. This case is just another tool to use to get ignorant people riled up against deportations.

Meet the Man Who Murdered the Democratic Party

Keep a close eye on the trajectory of these two stories. They haven’t met in the middle yet, but when they do, the old Democratic Party will be dead — and AOC will be its next leader.

The Liberal Media Reaction to Patty Morin's Appearance at the WH Was Absolutely Disgraceful

The liberal newsrooms know this is indefensible, so they would rather ignore it. That’s fine. Sticking their heads in the sand is how we got Trump elected twice. The truth hurts; the facts matter; and the liberal media remains an enemy of the people.

'Constituent' Clowns: One Week After Begging for Credibility, Axios Shows Why They Deserve NONE

It's not so much that they are evil (though they are that, too); it's more that they are so ideologically captured, from newsroom to boardroom and every level in between, that they likely cannot even see their own dishonest bias.

WHAT'S ON TAP?

Today on Capitol Hill...

As noted previously, the critters are mostly out of D.C. for "State Work Weeks" until April 28. Some, like Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-MD), have decided to use the time to grandstand on foreign soil over the deportation of a Salvadoran national...back to El Salvador.

Others, like Missouri Senator Eric Schmitt (R), are back in their home districts, discussing tax policy and how best to represent their constituents...

White House What's Up

President Donald Trump will welcome Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni to the White House on Thursday. They'll meet and have lunch. Later in the afternoon, he'll sign additional executive orders.

Vice President JD Vance took to X to champion the administration's immigration enforcement efforts and slam Democrats for their skewed priorities on the matter.

Full Court Press...

The Supreme Court is set to announce opinions Thursday morning. We'll, of course, be keeping an eye on those and report on any of note.

I provided a round-up of Wednesday's court developments here, the most notable perhaps being Judge Boasberg's finding of probable cause to hold the Trump administration in contempt in the J.G.G. v. Trump case (regarding the removal of TdA Venezuelans). The administration has appealed that order as well.

There was also a notable ruling out of the UK regarding the legal definition of a woman.

COMING ATTRACTIONS

As noted, we'll likely be getting some Supreme Court decisions later this morning. The Trump administration has filed emergency motions to stay Judge Paula Xinis' orders in the Abrego Garcia case (both with her and with the court of appeals), so expect some more rulings coming down the pike on that shortly.

On Friday, Vice President Vance and Second Lady Usha head to Italy and then India.

MORNING MUSING

It's no secret that I'm an animal lover — and particularly, a dog lover. Thus, I'm always a sucker for the "Homeward Bound" sorts of stories, where a beloved pet, separated from its owners, somehow finds its way back to them. I know some real-life stories like that — ones that I will always treasure. And now, there's a real-life story out of Israel, where a beloved family dog, Billy, was dognapped from her home in Kibbutz Nir Oz during the October 7 massacre. IDF soldiers recently found Billy in Rafah and took her for veterinary care in Israel, where it was soon discovered that she was chipped. In fact, as Aviva Klompas notes, "Billy belongs to Rachel Danzig, ex-wife of hostage Alex Danzig, who was murdered by terrorists in Gaza." On Wednesday, Billy and Rachel were reunited. A bittersweet reunion, no doubt, but it brings a smile to my face and tear to my eye to know that Billy is back with her beloved family.
