#1 - Kyrsten Sinema Drags Chuck Schumer, and the Lib Responses Are Gold — by Bonchie

They are so mad, and I'm here for every second of it. When they start bringing up slavery, which was a Democratic Party institution, by the way, you know things are rough. Still, I'd love for one of these people to explain to me how Sinema got Trump elected. She didn't run for reelection, allowing Democrats to go as wild and crazy as they liked. That's what got Trump elected, not the preservation of the filibuster.

I'll be honest. I'm going to miss Sinema. Yeah, she's a liberal who I disagree with most of the time, but she was a throwback to a type of senator we need more of, not less of. The thirst for power can blind and convince people that if they just push a bit farther, they'll have their utopia. That's never going to happen, and the filibuster remaining is good for the country.

#2 - DELICIOUS: 'The View's Not-So-Sunny Hostin Is Forced to Read Yet Another 'Legal Note' Live on Air — by Teri Christoph

Here's every glorious word:

Matt Gaetz has long denied all allegations and has not been charged with any crime. Gaetz previously dismissed allegations that he paid for sex, saying, "Someone is trying recategorize my generosity to ex-girlfriends as something untoward.

Another legal note, Pete Hegseth lawyers said he paid the woman in 2023 to head off the treat of a baseless lawsuit. He has denied any wrongdoing

The producers played music over the statement, and the sheep in the studio audience laughed on cue, but that didn't diminish from the gloriousness of watching these broads have to eat crow. They never learn, do they? Also, who actually tunes into this dreck has always been the great, unanswered question.

You might get sick of us saying it here at RedState, but this is the way. Republicans need to (metaphorically) put their boots right on the necks of these spewers of hate and lies ... repeatedly and often. Make them choke on their own words, make them read legal statements, make them go on record over and over with their silly narratives.

#3 - UPDATED: A Radical Judge Just Got a Lifetime Appointment Because Republicans Didn't Show Up to Stop It — by Teri Christoph

If Republicans don't have the hunger and commitment to kick this lame-duck senatorial session to the curb by stopping Joe Biden's radical judicial appointments from being confirmed, well, that hardly speaks well of their tenacity to boldly enact meaningful change once they take control of the chamber in January.

The second Trump administration could start right now, but the GOP has got to be there in person to show who's in charge. Sen. Manchin has indicated he won't vote for any Biden judicial nominees who don't have the GOP's approval, so it's hard to imagine a more perfect opportunity being handed to Republicans to stop the kind of leftist judicial activism they have railed against for years.

#4 - Comcast Makes the Decision to Leave Behind Its Sinking Ship MSNBC, Rats and All — by Brad Slager

Since that prior announcement by NBC-U, the prospects for its left-wing news channel have only become worse, with the Donald Trump victory taking things to new lows. First, there was the revelation that Al Sharpton pocketed a tidy sum from the lavish-spending Kamala Harris campaign, where the bad reverend was granted $500,000, and he repaid Kamala when he delivered a tongue-bath interview on October 20. This is a severe breach of journalism ethics, and the network heads have not addressed this payola scandal in any fashion.

Then, since the election, MSNBC has seen its ratings collapse. The days immediately following the result saw the network lose more than 50 percent of its audience, and things only deteriorated from there. The following week, they plunged to depths not seen in decades, with the recent returns showing no recovery. Then came the big admission.

#5 - The Left's Favorite Military 'Expert' Malcolm Nance Has Painted Himself Into a Corner — by Jim Thompson

Back to Nance's current social media kerfuffle(s). Parke is a veteran with self-described "two good conduct awards and hosts a veteran-centric podcast called The Team House. Nance bigfooted into Parke's X feed and said, after a few back-and-forths, that he’d participate in an interview for $25,000.

Parke pointed out that he, like hundreds of other vets, wanted Nance to answer straight-up questions. I have a few of my own, such as:

  • Were you employed by CIA, and when?
  • Were you employed by the NSA and when?
  • Did you really “teach” SERE or just watch the clock at the school desk?
  • Did you go to 'Scout Sniper School' or did you just stay at a Holiday Inn?

That threw the “deal” into flux. Nance, like he was a junior genie out of the bottle, then said he would answer only ONE question — not even three.
