It probably comes as little surprise that I don’t watch The View. I’m clearly not their target audience. The occasional clips I do see of it generally are in relation to a story we’re covering at RedState – typically because one of the hosts has offered an inane – if not outright offensive — observation. I guess, on one level, I can appreciate the fodder, though it’s not as if there’s any shortage of stories to cover.
Tuesday, host Sunny Hostin managed an inane-offensive twofer by declaring that white Republican women fall in line with what their husbands are doing and how their husbands are voting in order to “protect the patriarchy because it’s to their benefit.”
Hostin bashes white women AGAIN.
She claims they're subservient to their husbands and only vote GOP because that's what their husbands want.

Setting aside the fact that Hostin’s comment is both racist and insulting – implying that white women who vote Republican are somehow incapable of independent thought and merely submissive to the men in their lives – consider the fact that she followed that up by asserting that “white female Republicans…have a Republican Party that is taking away your health right to decide for yourself.”
So…is she saying that Republican women are voting to their benefit? Or to their detriment? And is it only white Republican women? Or do Republican women of color not exist in Sunny’s world?
Or is it possible she doesn’t really know and is just talking out of her…rear?
