Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) turned up the heat on retired Army Maj. Gen. Randy Manner for comments he made regarding President-elect Donald Trump and his supporters.
Manner appeared before a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on Tuesday regarding the incoming administration's plans to carry out mass deportations of criminal illegal aliens.
Manner, who has been a useful idiot for the Democrats in the past, made an opening statement arguing against the plan to solve America's illegal immigration crisis, saying it is not the military's job "to police its citizens or to enforce controversial and politically-charged immigration policies."
They wouldn't be policing its citizens, General; they'd be protecting them by policing an ongoing invasion of the country.
Senator Kennedy, when given an opportunity to question Manner, unloaded some past comments and suggested the military figure thinks he's "smarter than the American people."

Kennedy is always entertaining in these hearings, and he does an incredible job here of refusing to let up on Manner over past comments celebrating General Mark Milley's own assertion that Trump is a "fascist."
"On October 14th of this year, you went on CNN. I want to read you what you said, make sure I’m accurate. Here’s what you said: ‘President Trump is not like any sane leader. I’m very proud of General Milley for saying that President Trump is a total fascist,'" Kennedy confronted.
"To Bob Woodward, ‘If he as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs is calling the president a fascist, I’m so proud of him for breaking that barrier,'" he continued. "'The challenge is because most MAGA Republicans, they don’t understand what fascism is. The reality is that they are, in fact, fascists themselves.’"
"Did I read that accurately?” the Senator asked.

Manner wanted no part of the question, insisting his past comments were "not the purpose of the hearing today.”
Undaunted, Kennedy asked, "You think you’re smarter than the American people, don’t you?”
Manner insisted that was not the case and again tried to divert attention back to his being a witness on mass deportations.
"You think you’re more virtuous than the American people, don’t you, general?” Kennedy pressed.
“Senator, I’m insulted by your comment," the angered Manner replied.

Kennedy kept prodding Manner, mentioning his opening statement about "duty, honor, respect" and suggesting the retired Arny General was not exhibiting such traits.
“Senator, for 35 years, I served my country with absolute honor and distinction, and I will continue to do so," Manner insisted.
Honor and distinction isn't something you'd associate with anybody who celebrates Milley's blatant acts of treason in an effort to undermine the former and soon-to-be-again President Trump. Nor is it something to be associated with Manner, who signed a letter in September blaming Trump for the Biden-Harris regime's disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan.
Manner, shortly thereafter, fretted that Trump would use the National Guard to carry out mass deportations, suggesting he would use the National Guard as “his own personal police force.”
