Elizabeth Warren Gets Leveled by Community Notes and Social Security for Latest Wild Claim

We've been seeing constant lies from the Democrats claiming President Donald Trump/DOGE/Elon Musk are somehow cutting Social Security. It's despicable, designed to whip up fear in people who rely on Social Security, when Trump and his team have said over and over again that Social Security isn't going to be cut. But Democrats don't care about that, all they care about is power and control.

On Friday, Wired magazine ran with a story based on "sources" that the "Social Security Administration (SSA) will be shifting its public communication exclusively to X."

In the article, they cite sources who claim SSA regional commissioner Linda Kerr-Davis said something in a managers' meeting about "press releases or dear colleague letters."

In the article, Wired did include this comment from the White House about the story:

“This reporting is misleading. The Social Security Administration is actively communicating with beneficiaries and stakeholders,” says Liz Huston, a White House spokesperson

That apparently didn't stop Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) from making this ridiculous, fearmongering comment.

"Right, because Grandma is on X," she commented. "This is corruption, plain and simple."

Not only did her comment get smacked down by Community Notes but even the Social Security X account gave it the heave-ho, saying it was false and no, they aren't communicating only through X; they will "continue to communicate through any and all mediums."

Far be it from Warren to actually check reality before she spreads nonsense. But that just shows you, she doesn't care about the truth and/or she can't be bothered to do any due diligence before she goes off. It's also kind of funny because she is a grandmother and she is on X making this comment. So she's not even right about that. She thinks "grandmas" are somehow not able to master present technology. What a way to put down "grandmas."

Some also noted where she was getting her "news"--X and not from the Social Security Administration directly.

Despite being corrected, her post is still up.

Indeed, what the Trump team has been doing is try to make things more efficient. What they have been finding are problems that need to be resolved that could help save Social Security, so that people can be assured of getting the benefits they earned.

But that's not the story that Democrats want you to hear.
