New: Jasmine Crockett's Off the Rails Comment About Illegal Aliens and Your Groceries

Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) seems intent on seeking the record for most unhinged comments from a Democrat. She's certainly had some whoppers just this week alone.

As I reported on Wednesday, there was this unhinged remark where she said we needed "immigrants" [translation: illegal aliens] to do work she compared to slave labor.

"So I had to go around the country and educate people about what immigrants do for this country, or the fact that we are a country of immigrants. The fact is ain’t none of y’all trying to go and farm right now," Crockett said, garnering a sheepish laugh from a few members of the audience.
"OK, so I'm lying?" Crockett shot back, noticing the awkward silence. "You're not! You're not! We done picking cotton! We are. You can't pay us enough to find a plantation."

President Donald Trump responded that if this was the Democrats "new star," they were in "serious trouble."

Then, she went even more off the rails when she attacked Trump's illegal immigration policies. She called it a "failed thing" and said the Democrats had to do better to "connect the dots" to communicate this. Then she said this:

"The reason you can't afford a home is because of these failed immigration policies. The reason you're not going to be able to afford your food is because of these failed immigration policies. And the same can go for the hospitality industries where we have so many of those in the hospitality industry who are saying that they do not have the workers that they need right now."

Huh? What is she even talking about? If you tried to "connect the dots" on that comment, you just might lose your mind trying to figure it out.

First, the policies aren't "failed" — we finally have a more secure border, it's one of the great early successes of the Trump team.

What does any of that have to do with groceries or home buying? All of that went up under Joe Biden, that's all on him and his bad policies. But now — under Trump — core inflation is finally down, at the lowest number in four years. Prices, including things like eggs and gas, which had been up under Biden, are now down. So, what is she even talking about? It's probably a fruitless effort to even try to decipher it.

This is what Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) referred to as "Operation Let Them Speak." He was talking about Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) when he referred to it, but it equally applies to Crockett.

How does allowing illegal immigration bring prices down? We've spent endless amounts as a country under Joe Biden on illegal aliens. At this point, Democrats just say anything they think might help them, regardless of the facts. But it doesn't help them when it isn't connected with reality.

So please, Democrats, keep putting microphones in front of her face.
