Dem Talking Point Implodes: Even CNN Has to Admit Truth About New Inflation Numbers

Brace yourselves, another Democratic talking point is in the process of exploding.

Democrats have been complaining that prices aren't going down -- even as the prices were in fact doing exactly that, including on eggs and gas.

Now the latest inflation numbers are in, and they've dropped -- they're even lower than expected and the lowest core inflation in four years (since the Biden debacle began).

The consumer price index, a broad measure of goods and services costs across the U.S. economy, fell a seasonally adjusted 0.1% in March, putting the 12-month inflation rate at 2.4%, down from 2.8% in February.
Excluding food and energy, so-called core inflation ran at a 2.8% annual rate, having increased 0.1% for the month. That was the lowest rate for core inflation since March 2021.

The White House was celebrating, "Never bet against Donald J. Trump."

They also listed some of the highlights, noting, "America is back. Inflation is not."

✅ First drop in consumer prices in three years.
✅ 2.4% decrease in energy prices.
✅ 6.3% decrease in gas prices.
✅ 1.4% growth in real average hourly earnings.
✅ 2% decrease in prescription drug prices.
✅ Continued slowing of egg prices.

2% decrease in prescription drug prices.
Continued slowing of egg prices.

Even CNN had to acknowledge how good the numbers were.

A drop of .1 percent, the first time since COVID, CNN explains. Gee, what had been going on starting March 2021? The Biden debacle. Now, with more economic sanity under Trump, things are turning around. CNN also noted the difference is the drop in energy prices, the very thing that Trump has been going all in on.

"Better than expected and a 6-month low, moving in the right direction," CNN had to admit. Remember the funky numbers under Joe Biden and how the reports were always "more than expected?" Now suddenly we get "better than expected."

So perhaps Democrats would like to explain this? Or maybe they should just go hide in the corner after being wrong about everything and supporting Joe Biden, who made everything so bad for the last few years. They're still completely clueless when it comes to the economy. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) can't even keep up with reality, and thinks prices and inflation are up. He claimed that inflation and prices were still rising, yet was skewered with the numbers showing inflation had gone down.

How can anyone believe anything that Democrats say when they say things like this? It's untethered from the truth. Democrats don't know how to do anything other than lie and attack Trump. It's all they've been doing for ten years. They just hope people will fall for it and not question what they are spewing out.

But they can't argue with the facts and reality.
