It looks like there’s more trouble for former Vice-President Mike Pence in the classified document sweepstakes.

The FBI just searched his home in Indiana, according to a statement from Pence adviser Devin O’Malley and they found another classified document.

“Following the discovery and disclosure of a small number of potentially classified documents that had inadvertently been transported to his home in Indiana, Vice President Pence and his legal team have fully cooperated with the appropriate authorities and agreed to a consensual search of his residence that took place today. The Department of Justice completed a thorough and unrestricted search of five hours and removed one document with classified markings and six additional pages without such markings that were not discovered in the initial review by the vice president’s counsel.

The vice president has directed his legal team to continue its cooperation with appropriate authorities and to be fully transparent through the conclusion of this matter.”

The search was conducted with Pence’s permission and had been planned for days, according to Fox.

This will no doubt be used by Biden’s team to help his situation, to normalize removing classified documents.

But as I reported on Thursday, Biden confessed that he had classified documents going back to 1974 when he was in the Senate. He tried to blame people who packed up his office. While that might fly for Pence and President Donald Trump, that doesn’t fly given all the documents and the different periods, from his time in the Senate to when he was vice president. The only constant would be Biden.
