Joe Biden’s Department of Justice just doesn’t seem to be taking the threats against the Supreme Court Justices seriously.

Justice Brett Kavanaugh was the target of an assassination attempt at his home last month. The suspect said he was motivated by the leaked draft opinion indicating the Court would overturn Roe v. Wade. There have also been a lot of pro-abortion threats and violence including the firebombing of pro-life and crisis pregnancy centers. People have continued to protest at the homes of the justices who overturned Roe v. Wade last month.

But the DOJ hasn’t sought to curtail the illegal protests, nor have they seemed to take any action against the people behind the firebombings, vandalism, and other threats.

It seems like the safety of the justices is just not a priority for them and that attitude flows down from the top of the Biden Administration. While the White House issued a milquetoast response in regard to the attempt against Kavanaugh, Biden never issued a formal statement and he himself never condemned it. Not only hasn’t the Biden White House tried to calm the situation, they’ve ratcheted it up with former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki encouraging protests at the justices’ homes, despite those protests being illegal.

Now, there’s been another incident.

Justice Kavanaugh was out dining at Morton’s The Steakhouse in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday night, when someone tipped off radical leftist protesters. They showed up at the restaurant to harass him out front, according to the restaurant who told Politico what happened. Per Politico, they called the manager and demanded that he kick Kavanaugh out of the restaurant. The restaurant stuck to their guns–and the safety of their customers–and refused to do so.

“Honorable Supreme Court Justice Kavanaugh and all of our other patrons at the restaurant were unduly harassed by unruly protestors while eating dinner at our Morton’s restaurant,” the restaurant told the outlet. “Politics, regardless of your side or views, should not trample the freedom at play of the right to congregate and eat dinner. There is a time and place for everything. Disturbing the dinner of all of our customers was an act of selfishness and void of decency.”

Kavanaugh had to leave out the back door of the restaurant without finishing his dessert to avoid the radicals.

You would think that people would condemn threats and harassment of a Supreme Court justice, whatever their politics. Most Americans certainly do. But many on the left and their acolytes in the media have gone over the edge and used it as yet another opportunity to attack Kavanaugh.

Here’s a sample from Andy Campbell, a “Senior Editor” at the Huffington Post, according to his profile. Not only does he defend the harassment, but he also mocks Kavanaugh.

We have so vilified regular old protesters in this country that our institutions will bend over backward to defend fascist street gangs as protected demonstrators, but fill their diapers as soon as a crusty white politician feels uncomfortable (or in this case, his comms person?)

“Regular old protesters” who target justices where they eat and at their homes. Does Andy know about the assassination attempt, the threats, and the firebombings?

The left is now targeting Morton’s with their anger.

As we already reported, alleged comedian Samantha Bee urged people to harass Justice Samuel Alito and not let him have dinner in “peace” for the rest of his life.

Biden and the Democrats should be urging people to stop things like this. But they won’t.
