We’ve seen a constant state of chaos when it comes to the administration of Joe Biden and it seems to affect everything he touches.
We’ve seen Biden go full-blown incoherent and lose track of what he’s trying to say. We’ve seen him make up stories that couldn’t possibly be true. Indeed, that’s a feature rather than a bug of his nature, and not just a recent occurrence due to his incoherence — he had to drop out of his first presidential race for lying about his background and plagiarizing.
We’ve seen his team in a frequent state of panic to prevent his blunders as they often try to cut off the press’ ability to question Biden, even if they’re rudely cutting off UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson in the process.
My colleague Sister Toldjah has spoken before about this “Hideout Plan” where the press is limited from getting access to Biden. We saw this in evidence a couple of weeks ago when Biden abruptly canceled the traditional Three Amigos press conference with Biden, Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and Mexico’s President Andrés Manuel López Obrador after Biden made a series of blunders in 24 hours that had staffers behind the scenes struggling to correct the record.
That even earned this comment from Justin Sink of Bloomberg.
“I mean, I would — I guess I would just press for having a press conference. And I guess I would wonder if Jen said that this was going to happen if there’s a longstanding precedent of this happening, and the most recent data point is yesterday where you guys had to clean up not only this Olympic comment but his comment on the timing for the Fed and his Taiwan comment, is the worry that you don’t want the President taking questions? And if not, I think the best way to satisfy that would be to have the President out there tomorrow.”
But the Biden team still didn’t have any press conference. Instead, we were left with hearing about what happened in the meetings between the three leaders from Justin Trudeau, who held his presser. CBS News White House reporter Kathryn Watson even noted that allowed Biden to avoid some uncomfortable questions about things like the border.
But yesterday, Biden suddenly canceled another event where he was supposed to make remarks about “his Administration’s work to strengthen the nation’s supply chains, lower everyday costs for families, and ensure that shelves are well-stocked this holiday season.” The cancelation came just minutes before he was supposed to speak.
Even Senior White House Reporter for NBC News Digital Shannon Pettypiece commented that this was “very unusual” for someone to cancel like that, minutes before.
White House unexpectedly canceled Biden remarks on supply chain … about 15 minutes before they were supposed to starts
Very unusual— Shannon Pettypiece (@spettypi) November 29, 2021
The cancelation came after his meeting at the White House with the CEOs of several major retailers and the White House claimed he wanted to have more time to speak with them as their excuse for Biden skipping out on his remarks.
That seems like a pretty lame excuse, especially in the context of his prior actions and issues, as well as the importance of the supply chain issue. It’s unusual that the cancelation was done like that, but it’s not unusual for Biden to once again be chaotic. One has to wonder what was going on behind the scenes because we’ve already learned not to trust what they say. Is this more of the “Hideout Plan” coming into effect to prevent more blunders? I wouldn’t put it past them.
