President Donald Trump has said that America will never be a socialist country.

I suspect that will only be true if we continue to be vigilant and try to stop inroads whereever they arise.

Now that one party is letting a socialist lead their primary race, with all saying they would endorse him, that’s leaving a huge door open to a deadly ideology. Democrats have always had radicals in their midst but decade by decade they’ve taken over more of the party until now the present day Democratic Party would have shocked the hell out of Democrats like John F. Kennedy.

Bernie Sanders was considered a fringe politician for years, basically a laughing stock in the Senate, a Senator who had really done nothing and held radical views. It’s the Democrats who moved and embraced him and his views.

But the problem isn’t just Sanders, it’s all the folks coming up who he’s bringing along with him, like Kshama Sawant, Seattle City Council member, who he had as his opening speaker at his Seattle rally. Sawant is a self-proclaimed Marxist, according to reports.

You don’t often hear introductory speakers for @BernieSanders talking about socialism. But in Tacoma, Wash., Kshama Sawant, a socialist on the Seattle City Council, just did.

In any other country, she would not be in the same party as Joe Biden, she said. “So we need a new party for working people,” she said (translate: make it the socialist party).

“We need a powerful socialist movement to end all capitalist oppression & exploitation!”Sawant shouted. Our immediate task she said was to go all out for Bernie and prevent another rigging against him.

She wants to end one of the greatest forces for freedom of the individual in the world. It’s never about medicare, the Green New Deal or any of those things per se, those things are to draw people in. It’s always about destroying capitalism and controlling society at the end of it.

Sawant said that her organization, Socialist Alternative, was calling for a million people to have Bernie’s back at the Democratic convention in Milwaukee.

Socialist Alternative’s goal is a “socialist United States and a socialist world,” according to its website. It also says it wants “an international struggle” against the “failed system” of capitalism.

It wants to do things like “take into public ownership the top 500 corporations and banks that dominate the U.S. economy” and “run them under the democratic management of elected representatives of the workers and the broader public” with “compensation to be paid on the basis of proven need to small investors, not millionaires.”

This is what you need to show the Democrats in your life who may still have a modicum of sense. Do not let these people get any more power than they already have.
