James Carville Implodes, Gives Trump and Republicans 4-6 Weeks to 'Collapse.' Should We Tell Him?

Renowned Democratic strategist James Carville, who was largely responsible for the 1992 presidential election of Bill Clinton after 12 years of Republican rule, predicts that President Donald Trump and his administration are in the “midst of a collapse” and will implode within four to six weeks.

To state the obvious — to the rational among us, that is — it's the 80-year-old "Ragin' Cajun" who's in the midst of collapse, as he bitterly continues to rage at everyone from Trump to his own party, as the new administration continues to do exactly what Trump was elected to do.

During a discussion with left-"leaning" Mediaite founder Dan Abrams, the veteran Democrat guru — who confidently proclaimed in October he was “certain Kamala Harris will win” — was also confident as he told Abrams:

I believe that this administration, in less than 30 days, is in the midst of a massive collapse and particularly a collapse in public opinion.

Not to repeat myself, but a strong majority of voters across America, including Democrats who crossed party lines, not only elected Trump to do exactly what he said he would do, but also to avoid what would have been another four disastrous years of radical Democrat rule, headed by hollow-fraud Kamala Harris.

Then Carville, actually making sense, ripped into activist progressive groups, suggesting that they shut up.

These people were just useless. They’re actually worse than useless, they’re detrimental. And they never, ever learn to shut up.

Abrams was quick to agree — somewhat, anyway.

So you got a lot of Democrats who have been sort of yelling and screaming about a lot of these nominations, and in some cases, I think rightly so. Add in other cases, I think it’s a little bit been a bit overwrought.

But, you know, it seems that the angrier Democrats get, the more it feeds into exactly what Donald Trump and Elon Musk and some of these other folks want – meaning Fox News plays sound bites of Democrats heads exploding as sort of sport.

And a fun sport it is — to this conservative political pundit, anyway.

After Abrams asked Carville if he had any advice for the Democrats, the old Cajun was loaded for bear.

What I have said very publicly is that Democrats need to play possum. This whole thing is collapsing. It doesn’t need Elizabeth Warren and somebody screaming to pacify some progressive advocacy groups in Washington, which, by the way, I wish these people were just useless.

They’re actually worse than useless, that they’re detrimental. And they never, ever learn to shut up. And so then this is what I believe. I believe that this administration, in less than 30 days is in the midst of a massive collapse and particularly a collapse in public opinion.

Not to rain on Carville's pity party parade, but let's hope "worse than useless" Democrats — and their lapdogs in the left-wing media — never shut up.

Carville also predicted that House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) will have a hard time getting congressional Republicans to get on board with Trump’s current agenda and will be forced to reach across the aisle to ask House Democrats for help, particularly given the GOP's slim majority.

"It's over," Carville told Abrams.

Is it? I highly doubt it, but I also hope Trump doesn't squander any of the political capital he earned in November.

I'll leave that last line open to interpretation, as warranted.
