When Kamala Harris talks, she generally either cackles like she’s crazy or babbles an incoherent word salad that makes even mumbling Joe Biden look like a Toastmasters champion. But on the first anniversary of the Dobbs decision, which effectively overturned Roe v. Wade, Harris’s message was clear as a bell.

In an exclusive interview with Teen Vogue, the fired-up vice president called on teenage girls to push the Democrats’ aggressive abortion-on-demand agenda and fight against “extremist” abortion bans.

“Extremist”?

49 out of 50 Senate Democrats in December voted in favor of failed legislation that included the right to on-demand abortion (infanticide) until the moment of birth. Is that extremist, my Democrat friends?

Harris spoke with Teen Vogue by phone after delivering a Dobbs anniversary speech in North Carolina on Saturday, in which she wailed about the end of Roe v. Wade and called pro-life Republicans “extremists.”

The majority of Americans, I do believe, agree that one does not have to abandon their faith or deeply held beliefs to agree [with abortion-on-demand].

Harris’s claim was misleading due to the fact that the way survey questions are phrased greatly affects the percentage of responders who support or oppose abortion. In addition, while a majority of Americans favor legal abortion, a majority also favors restrictions on abortion “rights,” as even NPR reported in 2019, based on a then-current NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist Poll.

Three-quarters of Americans say they want to keep in place the landmark Supreme Court ruling, Roe v. Wade, that made abortion legal in the United States, but a strong majority would like to see restrictions on abortion rights, according to a new NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist Poll.

What the survey found is a great deal of complexity — and sometimes contradiction among Americans — that goes well beyond the talking points of the loudest voices in the debate. In fact, there’s a high level of dissatisfaction with abortion policy overall.

Almost two-thirds of people said they were either somewhat or very dissatisfied, including 66 percent of those who self-identify as “pro-life” and 62% of those who self-identify as “pro-choice.”

Given the above, here’s the question: If Harris is so confident that a majority of Americans support on-demand abortion, why is she calling on teenage girls to push the Democrats’ on-demand abortion agenda?

Harris told Teen Vogue:

I want the readers of Teen Vogue to know that you are leaders [as opposed to “extremist so-called leaders”]. You are leaders by virtue of the fact that you are reading this. And I’m counting on you because your voice and your perspective is so important to the future of our country.

And one of the significant ways you will express your voice is with your vote, your ability to organize, [and] your ability to remind each other that you are leaders and can help lead the direction of our country. Young people who are able to vote have the power to actually change the composition of the Congress to make sure that the people who serve in Congress are protectors of fundamental freedoms.

Is it any wonder why House Democrats in March 2022 unsuccessfully pushed an amendment to lower the federal voting age to 16? The vote was 125-302, with the majority of Democrats voting in favor, 125-93.

This was yet another quintessential example of how the Democrat Party operates.

If the Democrat Party can’t win by existing laws or rules, it tries to change them, from lowering the voting age to opposition to voter ID laws to packing the Supreme Court. And when Democrats fail to win by “any of the above,” they generally try to cheat, which we won’t get into in this article.

Harris continued:

Encourage the conversations among your friend group, which is what’s at stake when you vote. Let’s create the conversation and say hey, the Supreme Court took that right away — Congress can put it back in.

Also, use your voice through your social media to remind people who are going through struggles, maybe unwanted pregnancies, to know that they are not alone and that there’s help available to them.

I think it’s so important that when we know somebody who is going through a difficult time and a personal challenge, that we remind them they’re not alone and that we’re not going to judge them, but we are going to support them.

And the inept veep’s ridiculous claim, “the Supreme Court took it away — Congress can put it back in,” belied the fact that the U.S. Supreme Court is the final arbiter of the law and also functions as the guardian and interpreter of the U.S. Constitution — despite the Word Salad Queen’s misguided “confusion.”

Incidentally, as my colleague Sister Toldjah reported, Cackin’ Kamala’s toilet-bowl approval ratings look even worse “in context.”
