Never mind that Biden Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson refuses to define “woman“ because she’s “not a biologist.” Never mind that she supports lax sentences with no legal minimums for child porn offenders. Never mind that she lied her head off when confronted by Texas Sen. Ted Cruz about her past support of Critical Race Theory.
Never mind that Jackson is the most radical SCOTUS nominee to ever appear before the Senate Judiciary Committee, and that her views and positions are anathematic to conservatives across America.
Never mind “all of the above,” and more.
According to the Associated Press — self-defined as “the definitive source for independent journalism from every corner of the globe” — the real reason Republicans oppose KBJ and all she stands for is that she “brings too much empathy to the job.” No, really.
As the AP appears to disappointedly see it, KBJ will not be confirmed with a “robust bipartisan vote.” Okay. After hours of baseless, Democrat attacks against Brett Kavanaugh and later, Amy Coney Barrett, the Republican-controlled Senate confirmed both nominees 50-48 along mainly party lines, so we’re “even.”
After more than 30 hours of hearings, the Senate is on track to confirm Ketanji Brown Jackson as the first Black woman on the Supreme Court.
But Democrats seem unlikely to confirm her with a robust bipartisan vote. https://t.co/F4e9UIgt6G

The AP then trumpeted KBJ’s academic record, calling her SCOTUS nomination “long overdue” — totally ignoring her record and experience — before “revealing” the ridiculous “Jackson brings too much empathy to the job” schtick. The question is, AP, too much empathy for whom?
Victims of child predators, or the predators themselves? Males who “identify” as females and proceed to kick the hell out of female competitors in women’s sports? Unborn children, or the “birthing person” — I had to toss that in — who chooses abortion over “birthing”? Please, with the “empathy” nonsense.
Democrats praised President Joe Biden’s choice of the Harvard-educated lawyer and appellate court judge as long overdue, making the judicial branch begin to look more like America.
But Republicans argue Jackson brings too much empathy to the job. https://t.co/392C6FSXK8

And of course, claims AP, this isn’t the first time empathy has “been wielded as a disqualifying weapon against a nominee for the high court.” Make that women “tapped for the bench,” as opposed to males. Oh, really? When was the last time? Facts, please.
It’s not the first time that empathy has been wielded as a disqualifying weapon against a nominee for the high court. Nor is it the only time the empathy standard was applied to the women tapped for the bench, rather than the much longer list of men. https://t.co/392C6FSXK8

Such a fuss by the legacy media over the whole “women” vs. “men” thing — when the SCOTUS nominee herself isn’t qualified to define “woman” because she isn’t a biologist. Liberals. Very confusing people.
