For a small donation of $30 to NARAL Pro-Choice America, and a large portion of your soul, you too can purchase actual gender playing cards.
Yes, this is a real product.
The harpies over at the offices of the pro-aborts are just so tickled that Hillary Clinton is a female and want to celebrate that fact. Biological gender shouldn’t matter and does not make one more qualified, but for the Left, it defines everything. 2016 is supposed to be the year when Hillary will break that romanticized glass ceiling, remember?
To highlight this fact, NARAL introduced a set of gender playing cards.
2016 is shaping up to be a monumental year for women in American history, so we’re celebrating the trailblazing women who make America great with our new deck of “Gender Cards.”
Each card celebrates an American woman whose achievement stands alone in its significance—including Dolores Huerta, Sarah Weddington, Harriet Tubman, Hillary Clinton and many more.
Some of the women included in the set:
- Hillary Clinton
- Supreme Court women – Sandra Day O’Connor, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Sonia Sotomayor, and Elena Kagan
- Black Lives Matter co-founders – Patrisse Cullors, Alicia Garza, and Opal Tometi
- Helen Keller
- Gloria Steinem
- Sojourner Truth
- Suffragettes – Susan B. Anthony, Lucretia Mott, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Alice Paul, Katharine McCormick
- The women on the front lines of the Fight for 15
- Sheryl Sandberg
- Annie Oakley
- Beyoncé
- Michelle Obama
- Janet Yellen
- Domestic workers across the country, most of whom are women
- Sally Ride
- Nancy Pelosi
- Margaret Sanger
- Jane Addams
- Ella Fitzgerald
- Rosa Parks
- Laverne Cox
- Harriet Tubman
- Dreamers
- Eleanor Roosevelt
- Clara Barton
- Sacagawea
- Tina Fey and Amy Poehler
There are some good additions to the deck like Clara Barton, founder of the Red Cross, abolitionists like Harriet Tubman and Sojourner Truth, Sally Ridge, the first American woman in space, Susan B. Anthony, and others. But they are drowned out by the lesser women among them. Those staining the pack include Gloria Steinem, pro-abort harpie, Nancy Pelosi, unhinged Congressional leftie, Beyoncé, entertainer and liberal political activist, transgender actor Laverne Cox, not a female, and of course, Hillary Clinton.
Even the idea of a “gender card” is a gimmicky thing, but to liberals, the gender card is a tactic they employ to get ahead when accomplishment, experience, and qualifications are nonexistent or pushed aside in favor of diversity. This deck of cards is quite fitting during a year in which a woman who rode the coattails of her husband up the political ladder of success is attempting to win the presidency.
The problem with the already chintzy deck is the inclusion of women who encountered actual hardship and sexism alongside others who did not. Gloria Steinem promotes the enslavement of the unborn to certain death through abortion. She is mentioned in the same list as Harriet Tubman, a former slave who became a freedom fighter. Annie Oakley was a talented sharpshooter who could rival – and beat – men in her heyday. Her card isn’t far away from Laverne Cox, a transgender actor who was born male but surgically altered to appear female, and praised for “bravery”.
Gender cards, whether the idea or the actual product, are a feeble attempt at promoting equality. There is quite a difference between those females who have made a positive mark on history, like Sojourner Truth and Susan B. Anthony, and those who only wish for fame of the prepackaged, artificial, victimhood variety.
Hillary Clinton is a perfect example of the latter.
